Rhetorical question: Why does the information never include the obvious: "the item was most likely stolen from a grave that was looted and an archaeological site that was destroyed in the process"? When will this nonsense stop? When do we start boycotting auction houses that sell grave loot?
A gold arm ring shaped like a snake. A text informs us that it is 6,2 cm in diameter and weighs 31 grams. It is dated to ca 2000 BC and "probably Hellenistic." A screen shot of the auction catalogue text. It describes the private collector but contains no information about the provenance of the artefact. The catalogue also informs us that the starting price is set around 2000-3000 Euros.
