The grief is real. I washed his bowls and put them away, but I can’t get rid of his bed or his toys. Letting him go was literally the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. He was my child and I miss him every day.

President Biden was a good president, but there were a lot of missteps with him and his DOJ. Everyone can acknowledge that. If Garland appointed Jack Smith immediately we might not be in this position. If the midterms aren’t compromised like 2024 was there is a reckoning coming for the dems.

The one thing that bothered me about this piece. McConnell had already blocked Obama from seating Garland, there was no reason to believe he wouldn’t have done the same if RBG retired. I will never understand why Obama didn’t fight him fiercely against what he did, but here we are.
