I don't think people quite understand chronic illness, what it's like to "wake up tired" but still have a million things to do. Deciding where to invest your energy as you're operating on 20% of what everyone else has. Even the most basic stuff like washing yourself or making a meal is draining.

There is a writers group in Oswaldtwistle that I am not brave enough to go to. However, Noah & I are recording our chapters of Herbert the Super Goat. Both Sophie & Ruby feature in the story. Sophie as a farm Collie & Ruby as Rubacious the Great & Mighty Dog Dragon. I love that it makes him laugh!

Theia & I aren’t very well at the moment so we’re just sat munching bananas & Nutella on toast. Ruby wants bananas. She’s not so great either. Had an allergic reaction to something on our Wellhouse walk & has a rash. We’re treating her though & it’s eased a lot! Hopefully tomorrow will be better 🤞

Decided to share #100ReasonsILoveMyDog because dogs are love & the world could use a little more of that. Imagine if we loved one another the way dogs do… Reason 1. From the moment we met her, she helped make us laugh again after losing our old dog Sophie & our baby boy. One of her 1st days here.
