Wonderful to be back at one of our flagship schools, Whiston Willis, today supporting ECTs both in classrooms and with planning. Fantastic to see some lovely, impactful examples of publishing in books (images from Y4)!
Children wrote a play script based on the book Tar Beach for a tv network audience. Children wrote a tourist leaflet based on the book The Mermaid of ZennorChildren wrote a letter to the Selfish Giant using letter paper and envelopes Children wrote a newspaper article for Whiston Willis Weekly

Yesterday I was off to Kemble to workshop with committed leaders about the legacy of their vocabulary action research projects and share ways to cultivate & develop vocabulary with 40 teachers from their schools. Curiosity about & playfulness towards vocabulary acquisition at the heart of the day!
