no wait because I had no idea it was you either!😭I knew In The Wheels sounded familiar because I’ve actually watched quite a few of your videos, I can’t believe I didn’t realise it was you in real life

we still love and support him though, obviously😌our king will come back stronger

010

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

He was very lovely and polite off the bike, but was not looking good at all in the race😭 to be fair to him he didn’t get dropped badly, but yeah from the second go on the final climb, it was clear he was sliding back

it was so great to be able to interview kooij again this year, and this time ask the questions that had been playing on my mind all throughout what’s truly been a rollercoaster of a season for him🎢 if you’re curious as to his answers, have a read:

I spoke to Mark Donovan earlier about the rumours surrounding his plans for next year, and his words (and body language) were interesting to say the least😏he kept his cards close to his chest, but amongst other things he’s confirmed that whatever it is he’s looking forward to is going to be *new*

just got back from Lincoln and I have to say, the Tour of Britain in the past few years has been delivering every time🤩 it was such a great day out, and the racing in today’s stage (especially the bits I witnessed in-person) was so good👏

doing this was VERY fun last year, so I’ve decided to do it again !! here’s my 2026 Tour de France bingo card, this time full of completely reasonable and plausible predictions:

Hearing reports that wout isn’t washed

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

hang on, wasn’t everyone saying wout was washed yesterday…😅I couldn’t watch the stage, how has he won today

2110

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 31/05/2026

that is really not good… I don’t even know how they can get themselves out of this situation at this point

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

the biggest takeaway from this giro for me is actually just how funny and charismatic Victor Campenaerts is😅visma lab need to raise his salary and put him in charge of their tiktok content full-time

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

I’ve not bothered with it either, and tbh from the clips I’ve seen here and there, it doesn’t look like we’re missing anything🤷‍♀️

010

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

thank goodness😌one less dodgy sponsor in the peloton

050

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

HE’S READY FOR THE TOUR

I’ve decided to download the trine app to see what it’s like🤔will report back

010

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

that is SO cute though, so definitely worth it

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

This week we’ve moved from having to follow 2 WT stage races in a week to just 1, and the racing we’ve seen got me thinking (and writing) about whether banning overlaps is really what’s needed to save the sport - spoiler: I don’t think it is🤷‍♀️ Have a read if you’d like and let me know your thoughts😌

Fell, took out half the peloton, rode record times on cipressa and Poggio, and won the sprint…. We are so cooked

2161

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

yeah he single-handedly saved this race

140

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

I really hope that some of the other races he does this spring will be just as interesting

020

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

I hate the fact that pogačar is always so infallible no matter what happens😔but I very much appreciate that it wasn’t the usual solo dominance this time

270

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

did too much work I fear😔

at least it wasn’t yet another solo victory😒

I know saying this is so “if and buts” but I lowkey feel like Van Aert could have won this

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

too busy doing ’training’ and dropping his own teammates😔

000

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

pidcock looks like he’s gonna fall over

100

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

why are there so many motorbikes everywhere

030

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

no he looks terrible… I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets dropped

010

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

pogačar mentally scrambled, mvdp looking tired… maybe this is pidcock’s time🤔

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

someone must have put a spell on wout in 2023

THE most exciting monument of the year - Milan-Sanremo - is almost upon us🤩 Here are my predictions (that aren’t really predictions just a list of who I most want to win/do well): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ primož roglič? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ kubíš, laporte ⭐️⭐️⭐️ t piddy, kopecký ⭐️⭐️ de vries, campenaerts ⭐️ coquard, l. andresen

I think there’s an article from Domestique where they said he’s pretty much fine

020

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

exactly… I think it was definitely a successful day for mvdp and a great opportunity for him to train before MSR, but to say it was a successful effort for the team as a whole is a STRETCH

010

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

welsford and bittner say it affected them, but no offense they shouldn’t really be a threat to jasper anyway😬 and even after de lie’s monster shift to get back to the peloton, he still managed a top-10

010

lissie @lissmjm.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

did they execute the plan well though? even if philipsen didn’t fall, most of the sprinters were still there in the end, and I believe milan would still have won lmao
