Not previously reported: From 2011-2013, Dupont's "Project Alice" sought to eliminate fluorine entering Cape Fear River. Thermal oxidizer achieved that, but Chemours said it was too expensive: $60m. Cheaper than a $455m settlement + untold attorney's fees. insideclimatenews.org/news/1009202...
