The Foodborne Diseases Active Surveillance Network is a collab between the CDC, FDA and USDA. They previously tracked 8 pathogens but cut out 6 (Campylobacter, Cyclospora, Listeria, Shigella Vibrio and Yersinia). Under RFK they only track 2 (Salmonella and E. coli) and they cut staffing by 1/4. 🤢🤮
