As for worst pick, while Sparks of Tomorrow is not the worst anime objectively, it is by far the biggest waste of its potential. Worst kyo anime I've ever seen by a landslide. Beautiful animation deflated by a terrible script.

Needless to say all the S tiers are fantastic and worth watching but I want to give a shoutout to Iron Wok Jan, the dark horse of the season which I feel did not get the attention it deserved. Absolutely riveting from beginning to end.

Mushoku Tensei S3 takes the top along with YLDPFG, both fantastic adaptations of their source material. MT doing Turning Point 4 with an active perspective was a stroke of genius. A great return to form to the series. YLDPFG just doing SF6 was a galaxy brain move that made me far more invested.

Absolutely stacked nutso season. 16 S ranks, a record since I started doing these.

94. The Marshall King- This was riding on pure rule of cool to the point of being excessive, but damn if Boichi's drawings weren't really fucking cool. Shame some misfortunes with his personal life probably screwed this over but looking forward to whatever he does next

Best anime this season are Steel Ball Run(obviously), Firefly Wedding, FX Fighter Kurumi (warning dark), Student Council has Holes (warning ecchi), Rayearth remake, new Ranma Season and From Far Away (looks cheap but solid story and composition). For couple watching, Firefly Wedding is perfect.

I appreciate the MC using genuinely clever tactics with his shitty skills to make a random goblin mob encounter tense and exciting.

That wasn't bad. The animation is pretty and I liked the MC use his shitty skills in genuinely clever ways. It took a random encounter with four goblins and made it tense and exciting. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsxC...
