Tuxie @linuxfurnace.pds.oncomputing.dev · 31/08/2026Had some people come visit me and multiple times one of them said virulently transphobic shit to me in public. Horrible experience do not recommend.👎 000
Tuxie @linuxfurnace.pds.oncomputing.dev · 24/08/2026Thinking about an interview code writing thing i had to do back when I was fresh out of college. It was the most run on thing imaginable. Id probably claw my eyes out if I saw it now. 000

Tuxie @linuxfurnace.pds.oncomputing.dev · 08/08/2026I didnt realize some people still think the social contract is a real thing. I thought everyone accepted that was a thing we told babies to explain how the world works, like how we tell econ students bartering came before paper money. 000

Tuxie @linuxfurnace.pds.oncomputing.dev · 18/11/2025It's hard for me to see what Fil C gives devs that Cyclone doesn't? Ease of use? I maybe question whether that's worth giving up the compile time checks that Cyclone provides. If anyone has any links for Fil C, please share. I couldn't find any white papers and didn't want to swim through docs. 010
Tuxie @linuxfurnace.pds.oncomputing.dev · 28/08/2025The Android dev verification stuff is kinda funny for me cuz it basically ensures my next phone will be a pixel so I can install graphene. 030

Tuxie @linuxfurnace.pds.oncomputing.dev · 15/07/2025Thunderbird not pulling spam messages from gmail account. I do not like this. Not sure where the issue lies (I suspect google), but I don't like developers assuming they know every use case and making these silent decisions which break end user functionality! 110
Tuxie @linuxfurnace.pds.oncomputing.dev · 13/07/2025I appreciate that bluesky does not allow senders to delete messages they've already sent. Something about that always rubbed me the wrong way. 010
