Castro‘s design is getting worse with every update. If the overall concept wouldn’t map so well to how I want to consume podcast, I wouldn’t pay a penny for the sub 😩

I managed to convert Utility from a raster screenshot to SVG by hand in Inkscape, then adjust in a slicer and print. That's close to credit card size.

Ohhh interesting! Not sure I can help you out though. Maybe there‘s a way to render them out through Max4Live?

Folsom, California is in a Republican county. It has a population of just 85,000. Last night, 30,000 came out to see AOC & Bernie, having waited in a line that stretched for 3 miles. Whatever your politics, at a time when they’re not running for anything, this says something.

A picture from behind of Bernie and AOC on stage waving to the crowd under the blue evening sky.

Can‘t be the only one 🫠

Like, why? I always have my iPhone set to English (since most interfaces just look better because of poor localization for German) but it just feels way more convenient to talk to Siri in my native language.

Linus @linuskuner.bsky.social · 01/04/2025

Not that I would know what I would use Apple Intelligence for, but the fact that Siri and the iPhone need to use the same language is mind boggling.

Fully agree - I’d even say that that‘s the layer by which I can tell something is _good_ even though it might not be my taste.

This is true for AI generated music as well. I also think that knowing how much time and energy an artist of any form dedicates to their craft is part of what makes us enjoy the final result. Otherwise it‘s just trash without any soul.

The meaning we derive from Ghibli movies is not a matter of visual style. The visual style is just the final formal expression of the human time and energy that went into making these movies. It really matters that a human being dedicated a big part of his life to shape it.
