I think a skill we should all cultivate in ourselves (including me!) is the ability to celebrate wins while acknowledging that there is much work to be done. We can't wait to celebrate until a total victory because those don't exist. We have to be able to celebrate the gains we make along the way

The AP scene couldn't give two shits about trans people writ large. It's a scene full of ego and self interest, constantly wondering why everyone who sticks around is slowly hemogenizing into the same demographics we see domineering all media, refusing to think about why this is happening.

We need to normalize celebrating the deaths of awful people. If your reasoning under scrutiny is 'I'm not celebrating, I'm just not sad' or 'I'm just stating facts about the person', please grow a spine and party in solidarity. Sometimes people die and it's awesome. Own that shit.

I really believe *it is that deep* If you struggle to empathize with complex, messy characters who have cruelty in their hearts, how are you going you react when you find cruelty in your own? Will you stuff it down and lie? Will you shame spiral? Or will learn to love the horrid parts of yourself?

Gonna shout it louder for the people in the back. Trans people NEED to show out for ethnic minorities. The tactics used against us for being brown or black WILL be adapted to harm trans people. Further, cis people NEED to show out for trans people, ESPECIALLY women. Same fucking thing.

Rain @linkstrikedev.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

This is why there’s no liberation without collective liberation. Absolutely no one left behind, end of sentence, no excuses. We need to show out for each other in times of need, whether it’s matters of ethnicity, gender or sexual identity, or ability.

Avoiding discomfort isn’t always the end all be all of TTRPG gaming. Discomfort isn’t the devil. Everything in moderation of course, and *safety* is immensely important. But it is okay to be uncomfortable sometimes. It’s healthy to be uncomfortable. Some things need to be.
