Jacob Geller is no longer a part of MinnMax. He won't be on content moving forward and we won't be publicly airing this week's episode of The MinnMax Show. We're in shock and deeply hurt. Thank you for your patience during this sensitive time.

NEW VID 👁 What if Witch Hat Atelier’s magical worldbuilding is so deeply woven into its setting that magic becomes more than something its characters simply create? What if it’s been hiding in plain sight all along, and that was always the plan. youtu.be/DXUjzZ_Z9lc

NEW VID 🎮 I love PlayStation. In many ways, it shaped my childhood. But somewhere between the PS2 and PS5, I think PlayStation lost a little bit of its magic. And it took me a while to realise what was missing. So, let's discuss! youtu.be/RQYCfTHIEz4

It'll be receiving an anime by kyoani in the future, so no doubt you'll see more talk about it, but it's been on my "plan to make a video about it" schedule for ages now. Truly a beautiful manga with a great message I think more people need to see and hear.

*Fantastic* video by @linesinmotion.bsky.social, both obviously because it praises the hell out of an author and series I love, but also huge agree on the main points about manga being complete works that shouldn’t be seen as a stopgap until the “real” work comes youtu.be/yjrtmWFlkr8?...

Always wanted to cover this topic after watching the film. The video ended up leading me into a bigger question about how often queer characters are allowed to be complicated or flawed w/o it being seeing as a failure of "good representation".

Dani @linesinmotion.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

NEW VIDEO! Today I'm covering Nimona! I wanted to look at how it tells its story differently from webcomic to film, and how queer characters are often held to different standards when it comes to morality, villainy, and complexity. youtu.be/KvKmF1y3p5Y
