I just updated to the macOS 27.2 beta and thank goodness they fixed this

Doesn't seem to apply for all apps yet, for example the app above is VSCodium, and the app below is Inkscape…

And the downloads folder when opened still uses the Tahoe-styled icon, right…

When I open the downloads folder in my dock, the icon still uses the Tahoe-styled one (which has a -45 degree lighting angle) instead of the newer Golden Gate–styled one (which has a 0 degree lighting angle, so no diagonal lighting)

it feels crazy but eh, it's just nonsense... I could've put Iocaine in front on Nontrinsic but I doubt it would do anything, and even then all they're getting is nonsense anyway and my home server is fine with all that requests

I just realized that the reduce blur effect is enabled by default on my phone with LineageOS (no idea why) but now that I disabled it, it felt like a revelation idk
