Funny enough, I felt like Pokémon Z-A did this with their combat system. They had an option for every major battle to push through if you tried once, which I'm sure was for kids but also helped gamers like me only used to turn-based combat. I tried them multiple times but only because I wanted to.

I recently heard this term used frequently watching a e-sports broadcast (the winners at any point in time were said to have "plot armor") and it was just pinging nerves with each use. It doesn't help to beat any allegations of being self-centered, either.

I should've been clearer that I haven't seen it with this case so much as prior ones. It's usually along the lines of mental health discussions where "no one listens to men" but men paradoxically won't talk to be heard, either.

I finished my Eureka rewatch and now I’m rewatching Warehouse 13 and if I became a billionaire I would fund a streaming service that produces scifi/fantasy shows that are 16 to 23 eps of silly fun, none of which are blockbuster high budget dramas and all of which have a guaranteed 4 season minimum.

It's also frustrating to see many good-willed attempts from women online to listen to men as some sort of trap or bait-and-switch. They have to be vulnerable for one second in order to break their assumptions, and yet "no woman listens to my troubles" is on repeat even after they reject listeners.
