If the heat is getting to people, I have copies of my book available... A novel set in the deep winter, full of thoughts on the ice age, the trash heap of the world, the emptiness of God, the possibility of the universal solvent, and the deep textures of the forest and the stones beneath it...

Liam Sprod has a new book test printed. It's a beautiful meditation on the rural forest, once industrialised countryside of south Sweden. 'Dead Ice' is a term of the iceage ice that slowly melted and crushed, rifted the granite underneath, leaving hollows still visible today. #liamsprod #deadice

Notes on Proust 3. The way I came to embark on reading Proust was itself also mediated by art. In particular, how Rosalind Krauss, in the conclusion to 'Passages in Modern Sculpture' (1977) connects contemporary sculpture's concern with, and evocation of, an experience of space and time with Proust.

Hi everyone. As an artist and human being it's been absolutely a necessity to move away from meta. I'm testing Blue Sky but am also on mastodon.social and pixelfed.social. Those platforms are decentralised and community led which I prefer as they can't be owned by big bucks due to their build. ✨
