I remember in our school, the prefects had a red band sewn round the wrist and collar of their blazer. I'm going to dig thru my brooches to see if one would work (or maybe an old, fancy button? 🤔).

We were discussing last night whether I should try to repair it or not. Its actually down near the wrist, so a leather patch wouldn't work, but we discussed either a random wee brooch, or a dark green velvet band (round both sleeves), but I'm inclined to leave it be incase I make it worse.

Ditto for me 11 years ago. Bought it at a vintage fair. Think I paid about £20. Has a wee hole in the sleeve, but otherwise perfect. One of my best fitting jackets.

I had a vintage tweed jacket on last night that I bought from a vintage fair 11 years ago. My friends and I were talking about how lovely tweed is... then this pops up! Very informative video that I've forwarded on, thank you 😊

Watching from the outside (Scotland), the sense of superiority (by some) appears to extend beyond thinking their state is the best, but also believing the US is the best. There are some fabulous things about the US, but healthcare, gun control, prison population, racism, extreme religion... 🤔

Last week it decided to hurt like blazes and stiffened up completely and I couldn't move it at all. Bandaged it up with a makeshift splint for a couple of days and its back to "normal" again. Gives me an insight into future problems though 🫣

That is a genuinely weird coincidence. I got what looked like a sting bite in the knuckle of my pointing finger five years ago. Hurt like hell and I couldn't bend it. Took months to loosen off and has always been a bit stiff since....

This video surprises me zero. I believe your grief for each lost pup is manifesting as anxiety and depression because you are having no time to grieve. I agree with your ideology comment. A permission structure has been created that allows some to go happily public with their bigotry, racism or whatever other hateful traits they have. They haven't considered that there will be a point in the future when they will be held accountable again.

I have a theory... "Someone" (Russia/Israel?) has patiently gathered (initiated?) corrupting evidence over many years (sexual/financial) and waited... Money was spent to get those people into power at the right time (inc T) and they're now all compromised and blackmailed to do "someone's" bidding.
