Masochists often act in an unpresuming and self-effacing manner, as they prefer to be seen in an inferior light.
Interpersonally Deferential: Masochistic individuals defer to others in social situations, often believing that others have more of a right to call the shots or will get angry and hurt the masochistic person if they don’t align themselves with their wishes. Consequently, they tend to attract partners and friends who are liable to exploit, mistreat, or take advantage of them
Cognitively Diffident: People with masochistic tendencies are hesitant to interpret situations optimistically. They habitually express insecure attitudes and anticipations that run contrary to favorable beliefs and feelings. As a consequence, their cognitions remain overly focused on negative outcomes and possibilities, and they may remain stuck in the same life patterns.

Undeserving Self-Image: One feature of a masochistic personality is self-abasement. Those who are high in this trait tend to regard themselves as unworthy of genuine love and, by contrast, deserving of shame and humiliation. They often feel that they have failed to live up to the legitimate expectations that others have set for them and that accepting abuse is the only way that they can compensate.
Discredited Self-Esteem: People high in this trait have a disparaged sense of self and look down on their own self-worth and achievements. Consequently, many are drawn to relationships or situations in which they will suffer since, unconsciously, they feel that they do not deserve to be in a loving relationship. Moreover, they are likely to give up easily when faced with a challenge, thereby reinforcing the belief that attempts to better their life situations are futile.
Rumination: Individuals with masochistic tendencies tend to dwell on negatives in their past. They repeatedly recall injustices and anticipate future disappointments on the basis of how their past has treated them. This serves to maintain their accustomed level of suffering and pain, and they may experience this as protecting themselves from getting hurt again.

Self-Defeating: People with masochistic personalities tend to engage in self-sabotaging behaviors. They fail to accomplish tasks crucial to their personal well-being, often despite their having the competency to do so. They likewise tend to engage in excessive self-sacrifice that is often unsolicited by the intended recipients of the sacrifice.
Dysphoric Mood: Many individuals with masochistic personalities experience a complex mix of emotions – at times anxiously apprehensive; at other times forlorn and mournful. Rarely are they strangers to background feelings of anguish and torment.

Gen AI tools can rapidly expand both offline/online surveillance for law enforcement and policing. The mass scale web scraping indirectly provides access to huge amounts of public domain data and the features of gen AI tools themselves could be used to make social media monitoring more expansive.

I'm a csa survivors,was diagnosed with ptsd at the age of 12. my mom basically gave up raising me. she hated me and once hoped to send me to a private youth correctional facility. People might think that all the children who have gone through such things are dead, but I'm still alive now.😇😇
