According to the AAA, the national average price of regular gas is up 31.5% from a month ago and is now $3.84 per gallon. Diesel is up 27.4% and now stands at $5.06 per gallon. So all those redneck prick-up truck drivers with single digit mpgs who mostly voted for trump are now hurting the most.

One of my friends had an immunity check for measles, and since his vaccine was over 5 decades ago, he had no antibodies left. I stopped off today for an MMR vaccine. If you're old (like me), then a vaccine is probably a sensible precaution against the anti vax imbeciles

Cars covered. Tarps over front and back steps, and a path for the grill and the generator. 3D printed cable port ready to go into the window to bring power into the house for necessities. Hopefully this will guarantee the coming winter storm will be gentle. Ice has just begun to fall.
