My husband took 2 months of paid family leave after our baby was born and it was absolutely instrumental for my physical and mental health after birth. I don't have data on it but I'm convinced that fathers taking more parental leave would lower the rate of postpartum depression significantly.

I just got back from NYC immigration court, where guards outside barred me and another reporter from entering the building for 2 hours. The mega master hearings are continuing, with five judges managing dockets of between about 70 to 100 cases each.
