2 million displaced refugees need a home, due to the reckless policies of this administration. I can understand why someone might shy away from talks of sovereignty, and quite frankly the name is arbitrary. The fact is that most of these people are not legal citizens, and will die without support.

The US has a peace treaty to protect reservation territory. The @usarmy.bsky.social has an obligation to protect A/AN reservations from existential threats. If America 2 is to be treated “as a reservation”, then any refugees must also be protected while we sort this out. It’s contractual.

My grandpa had an anecdote. He recalled that for the first half of his life, he never thought about politics because everything kept getting better. He said that all changed when Reagan was elected. It’s becoming clear that democracy needs maintenance, and its keepers are not willing to do so.
