Righto, next script is only waiting for a Character Creation portion, and then it's complete. Holy fuck is it going to be a long one too.

I love that the 40k Lexicanum page for Giant Cacti (you know, the old terrain piece of Weird Alien Cactus) starts its trivia section with "A cactus is a real world plant." wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Giant_c...

Currently working on a massive script about the first edition of WFRP, but it just keeps getting longer and longer, and I have limited scripting time. So while I work on that in the background, I'm gonna make a video about Orks in the first edition of 40k.

So in that new WarCom trailer for the autumn preview, does anyone have any clues what the yellow "Nominae Eius" thing is? Because to me it just looks like a banana, and that makes me think we're getting Jokaero. #warhammercommunity #warhammer #nerdlings

For a faction that is functionally anathema to Chaos, it's kinda ironic that this would be my first one to get 666 views (and yes I know about the new view counting method)

I had inspiration for a short story, as I do at night. So I wrote it out (it's barely a paragraph long, won't eat too much time). Take a wee gander, if you'd like. luciasnightstories.blogspot.com/2026/07/a-dr...

EXODITES! WE GOT MUHFUGGIN EXODITES! Not to say that I spoke this into existence but I kinda definitely did not speak this into existence. They look so cool too! The dinos are so precious and the elves themselves are fabulous! Now I want Dragon Knights on massive monstrous dinosaurs, like sauropods

It's awesome that we're getting a new Necromunda core set. I think we've already had a Esher vs Goliath box set, but I'm not gonna complain. Eshers are cool as hell, and also, Girliath is peak. No notes. Also nice that we're getting starter sets for the gangs as well.

The new Ogor Mawtribes are fine, I am glad that they got updated, but with the trailer for the preview promising a "New AoS army" I was hoping for something different. But it is cool that the Ogors are getting some love, four editions in.

I don't have Warhammer+ and don't plan on getting it, but an entire series from the point of view of a Khorne Berzerker sounds rad as hell as a World Eater player.

Different weapons won't change the fact that this us just a Titan for LI. I mean the kits are cool, but it's just another Warlord. I think the weapons were available before, but only as resin upgrade kits from Forge World.

The new plastic Custodes range for Heresy and 40k has genuinely been nothing but win after win after win, and giving us the Telemon, Gyrfancons and Pallas in a single big box is probably the best move GW could have done. Custodes players are eating better than ever.

The preview for the Custodes support battle group box, featuring a quartet of Gyrfalcon Jetbike riders, a Pallas Grav-Attack and a Telemon Heavy Dreadnought.

The Bigguns and faster game format for Blood Bowl look fun. I've never played Blood Bowl, so I can't really comment on it. Maybe when/if I get the Gnome team.

The new Old World Core Set looks fantastic. Glad they didn't add anything new for Cathay, they have a pretty good lineup, but the Chaos Warriors are fantastic here. Also glad this isn't a new edition, and the Battle March format looks like a ton of fun.

Lilly Grimtail @lillygrimtail.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

The starter set, paint set and ready made terrain are pretty much what I expected. It's neat, but nothing ground breaking, though getting the whole Patrol in the paint set is a cool thing to do. The Ork Trukk is neat as well, I like the ramshackle vibe and bits of customization.
