Yeah, it wasn't just general antisemitic bs, it included stalking, doxxing, and threats. www.jns.org/news/u-s-new...
According to the indictment in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Ha allegedly used at least four anonymous social media accounts to send about 50 harassing messages to an unnamed victim from Oct. 9, 2025, until May 20, 2026. The professor is also accused of having “frequently utilized virtual private networks to obfuscate his internet protocol address and make tracing the source of the messages more difficult.”

Among the messages he is accused of sending are “Jew, get the f*** out of my country,” “Jew pig, get the f*** out of Lower Merion” and “If Jews are so special, then they should also be placed in special camps and receive special treatments.” The professor also allegedly wrote to the victim and included a picture of the victim’s home mailbox and wrote, of Jews, “you scum have had it too easy. Goyim are taking American back, blood-guzzling demons.” On four other occasions, he also allegedly posted the victim’s address.

After the victim took security measures, including blurring his address on Google Maps, Ha allegedly wrote, “The Goyim have woken up, Jew. Run. Flee. Leave. Blurring your home on Google Map and installing a security camera next to your mailbox won’t help.”

Oct 7th as a Jew outside Israel, was a uniquely bizarre and traumatizing thing because you were just glued to watching it happen, and so were all the Jews in your life, and all your Goyish friends had no idea or worse were unmasked invasion of the body snatchers style as Jew haters

Israel is a democracy. Individual members of a government coalition do not solely determine policy. If we are going by that, what do you think Hamas - as a whole, not individual members - is wishing for Israel (or for Jews as a whole)?

But calling a war you don't like - coincidentally only the one war the Jewish state is fighting in response to a massive attack - genocide weakens the meaning of actual genocide.

We can talk about proportionality in Israels defense against genocidal terrorists. About the amount of acceptable civilian casualties. About war crimes. About far-right individuals in the current government and their hateful ideology.

But yes, genocide is a crime of intent. That intent is clearly not there in the case of Israel. If it were, they'd have the means to actually do it. But they aren't. They are fighting a war against an enemy hiding in highly populated areas.

Between 660.000 and 1.2 million of the 1.5 million Armenians were murdered during the Armenian genocide. None of whom were terrorists murdering Turkish civilians. If the Turkish government is making that argument, they are lying.

I've never understood why Free Palestine people want to go down the road of "in practice." In what world is Zionism inherently racist "in practice," but Palestinian nationalism, that motivated countless terror attacks, wars, and the Hamas massacre on October 7th, isn't?

And what will happen to the 20% Arab Israelis, the majority of whom do not want a one state solution and who would be treated as collaborators by Hamas when Israel is destroyed and one Islamic state erected in its place?

And while we're at "not at the expense of another people's right": The green party very explicitly supports Palestinian nationalism in the entire area in their resolution. No two state solution, just one Palestinian state. Who do you think will pay for that? We know what Hamas wants to do to Jews.

Jews largely fled the Arab world amid percussion, most Arab states have essentially 0 Jews. Hamas has declared that they want to murder all Jews, neither Hamas nor the PLO are interested in peace. You oppose ethnostates? Oppose Hamas, support the democratic opposition in Israel.

lilithsmith12.bsky.social @lilithsmith12.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
Seriously. There's one (flawed, as are all) democracy in the middle east in which Arabs have equal rights. More rights than in any surrounding state. Israel has repeatedly made attempts for a two state solution.

lilithsmith12.bsky.social @lilithsmith12.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
The motion calls for "a single democratic Palestinian State in all of historic Palestine". Doesn't mention Jews, doesn't call it Jewish-Palestinian. The goal is an actual ethno-state like Gaza, where Jews cannot life. Not one like Israel, where 20% of Arabs have equal rights.

lilithsmith12.bsky.social @lilithsmith12.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
Putting a westernized oppressor/oppressed lense on this and defining one vulnerable group as oppressor is absurd. It's a complex geopolitical situation, and a simple "Jews are evil oppressors and should be (if necessary forcibly) removed" isn't the answer.

lilithsmith12.bsky.social @lilithsmith12.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
that's ... not true. The majority of Israelis are mizrahi. They are decedents of refugees from the middle east. Most were born in Israel. All Jews originate from the Levant. Palestinians, being Arabs, originate from ... Arabia.

They aren't citizens, are they? Nowhere do non-citizens have the same rights as citizens. Gaza has been governed by Hamas since 2006. People living under Hamas did not have many rights. That's bad. Criticize Hamas.

Thinking that after the terror of the first and second intifada, after Oct 7th, that there will NOT be a bloodbath when Israel is dismantled is absurd. It's also pie-in-the-sky thinking. Israel will not dismantle itself. Its citizens KNOW what will happen. They've seen the Oct 7th images.

Applying western concepts of a settler state to Israel, the indigenous Jewish homeland, a state that consists to >50% of decedents of Jewish refugees from the middle east is absurd. Calling Israel, a state where the 20% Arab population has equal rights Apartheid is absurd.

Yes, Arab citizens have full equal rights in Israel. More rights than in any Arab country, just as many rights as Jews have. If you don't know that, maybe you should sit this one out.

The practical conclusion of the Green Party dream of a destroyed Israel is the murder of 7 million Jews. Whether they want that or not. And excluding Jews who believe in Jewish right to self-determination is antisemitic af.

There are ~20% Arab citizens in Israel with full equal rights. Since 2006, there were 0% Jews in Gaza. We know what a Jewish state looks like. Imperfect, but with equal rights for Arab citizens. We know what happens with Jewish people under PLO/Hamas rule.

It specifically supports the Palestinian right to self-determination. In its current form, put forth by the PLO and Hamas, do you think that won't happen at the expense of the 7 million Jews (and 2 million Arabs) currently living in Israel?
100
lilithsmith12.bsky.social @lilithsmith12.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
That doesn't mean Palestinians don't deserve the right to self-determination. The greens specifically support the current Palestinian nationalist desires - including the antisemitism -, but reject any Jewish right to self-determination.

lilithsmith12.bsky.social @lilithsmith12.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
The version of Palestinian nationalism put forward by the PLO and Hamas is antisemitic. It explicitly contains the desire to destroy the Jewish state and drive 7 million Jews into the sea.

lilithsmith12.bsky.social @lilithsmith12.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
And of course, entire proposal rejects the Jewish right to self-determination. That's antisemitism. It desires the destruction of the only Jewish state, which will result in the murder or forced displacement of 7 million Jews. That's antisemitism. Y'all should be ashamed.

It repeats the genocide libel. It doesn't define what it considers "illegal occupation". Most of those supporting the motion will consider all of Israel proper to be "occupied" and the "occupation" ended when Israel is destroyed and the entirety of the Levant is free of Jews.

lilithsmith12.bsky.social @lilithsmith12.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
And the joint statement is kind of a joke. It doesn't even mention antisemitism. It claims to uphold universal rights for all, while the motion explicitly denies the universal right of self-determination for Jews.
