You have approximately $4M worth of gadgets and highly-compensated labor. Can you find the village idiot hiding in the cornfield?
Excerpt from BMTN article reads: "“The driver, later identified as 52-year-old Steve Oachs, of Watertown, allegedly gave the deputy a false name before fleeing on foot through a cornfield.
Oachs then came out of the field and was picked up by a friend in a vehicle that was stopped by police a short time later.
During the second traffic stop, Oachs once again fled on foot into a cornfield.
Despite police setting up a perimeter, using drones and the Minnesota State Patrol helicopter to assist, Oachs was not found.”

“It could be a dildo store, it could be a coffee shop,” he said of the space's potential."

UK architects cramming their learning units in during Christmas vacation, they’re just like us! ☺️
Excerpt from BD Online article reads: “The report also found the number of CPD activities undertaken by architects fell below standards expected, with a median number of four against a recommended number of eight.
It admitted there was "significant variation" in the quality of recorded reflection, the process by which architects summarise how their learning affected practice.
The ARB said the CPD reflection remained a "year-end compliance exercise" rather than a core part of professional development, adding that compliance data alone "cannot demonstrate whether CPD is producing
better professional outcomesồẠạ”

UK architects finally have to do continuing education and I was surprised this many fucked it up during the first audit lol
Excerpt from BD Online article reads: “The ARB removed hundreds of architects from the register during the first year of its new mandatory CPD system, according to the regulator's new report.
Last year was the first full year that registered architects were required to comply with ARB's mandatory CPD scheme, which was introduced to improve competence in the profession following the Grenfell Tower fire.
The regulator estimated that more than 85% complied with the new statutory requirement with 270 removed from the register for non-compliance.”

Excerpt from Complex article reads: “When Eminem fan account Shadyverse shared news of the collaboration on Instagram, many
fans were skeptical, questioning the legitimacy of Slim Shady's participation. "No f*ing way," one person wrote, while a second flat out called the collaboration "FAKE."
Another fan theorized that Em's inclusion on the track was via a verse he might have recorded years ago that Kid Rock is only now choosing to use. "Most likely an old verse, current day Em would not approve of this shit," they wrote.”

Look. All I’m saying is that $33M of Minneapolis taxpayers’ money is buying multiple Dodge Durango SRT Hellcats and Doughboy above ground pools for Anoka and Ramsey households. We should maybe think about reining this in. And maybe that shouldn’t be controversial.
Excerpt from Strib article reads: “ “Peterson and eight other MPD leaders were closely questioned Monday about spending and overtime by the Minneapolis City Council during a budget meeting.
“The number, the dollar value, is very high and I would say, inexcusable,” Assistant Chief of Operations Mark Klukow said when asked how the department spent $33 million in overtime last year, blowing its budget of $6 million.”

Look at this bullshit lmao YOU’RE COOKED MFers!
Excerpt from Bloomberg article reads: “ “Cambria has urged jurors to see its product not as a threat to workers’ safety but as a boon for the health of their children. “We all cut chicken on our countertops, and we all have kids who eat off the countertops sometimes,” company attorney Lindsay Weiss said during a 2024 trial. Quartz is the corniest bullshit material ever, and it kills fabricators. I constantly talk clients out of it and it awesome to see it finally get examined by the big news orgs -- especially overpriced and overrated Cambria and their Trump-supporting POS CEO.
Excerpt from Bloomberg article reads: “ “The litigation poses an existential threat to the artificial stone industry, especially for Cambria, which only makes artificial quartz slabs. “The enormous resources required to defend against these lawsuits, coupled with the potential risk of nuclear verdicts, place an enormous burden on us,” Shult told lawmakers. “The legal fees for just one trial can be millions of dollars, and we are currently defending against 400 of them.” (It’s now over 600, with more in the works, according to attorney James Nevin, whose firm represents many of the plaintiffs.) Juries have ruled against Cambria in two of the three cases that have reached verdicts, including Jordan’s, in which the manufacturer owes about $7.7 million to Jordan and his wife. The company has settled several others on undisclosed terms.”

Apple owes Pornhub a mention at their next event. This is incredible loyalty…
Excerpt from Mashable article reads: “ “Few events lure people away from Pornhub. The World Cup was one, and yesterday's Apple Event was another.
Apple fans typically close their Pornhub tabs at the start of these annual September product launches. Android users, however, don't seem to care. That was the case in 2025, and this year, Pornhub told Mashable that Android traffic remained close to average throughout the event.
But for Apple users, it's a different story. In fact, Pornhub saw the biggest decline in pageviews during an Apple Event in the past five years — and you can probably guess what for.

Two minutes before the event started, Pornhub pageviews on Apple devices were down 19.1 percent compared to an average day. Anticipation was high, as rumors of the foldable iPhone had mounted for weeks.”
