I've successfully linked my SBI Shinsei Bank account to my SBI Securities account as a foreigner with a long name. It took 3 months, and if you have no idea what pain this is, good for you!

Time hit some ⚾️ 🧢 I guess

Screenshot of a mobile chat titled "iOS capture overexposure issue" in a project labeled "vwfndr-mbl." The assistant reports that 506 tests pass plus 2 expected failures, tsc and eslint are clean, nothing is committed, and the staged spatial.test.ts and spec have newer changes to restage. The user replies, "So basically I go out, touch grass, and take photos?" The assistant answers, "Pretty much, though older DNGs from the 18 Pro in your library work just as well if they cover the right scenes."

If it's a thumbnail as in og image, you should try generating it on the fly with random colors per request (or with a short cache)!

Developing a website: Developing a mobile app: - os might pause the app - os might kill the app - os might change permissions at any time - phone might blow up - maybe it's a kid using the phone - have you checked your internet connection - what os are you running again? - oh, it's rooted!

I don't know if I'm in a weird bubble of AI these days, but it's such a breath of fresh air stumbling(!) across words written by humans online.

What a pleasure to go over a coworker's review when not a single word of it is actually written by them 🫠

Kinda yes, we use dedicated words for them in French (and I guess Italian) like "gressin" or "ficelle" :)

To add to it, it's indeed "stick" but the "-ette" ending indicates it's brittle/petite/thin nature. "Bâton" would be the stronger/bigger equivalent one would associate more with spear-like function :D

iirc the camera preview plugin is tailored to work on all devices, so it uses a simple setup with no optimization (like skipping precapture sequences when exposure already converged, etc.)

001

Lucie @lihbr.com · 20/07/2026

Thanks! tl;dr there's a thousand ways Android let's you operate the camera. Because we needed full control and particular features (e.g. C2PA signing, DNG capture with derived JPEG, etc.), we wrote our own plugin and a lot of Java

About a year ago, I started to work with @nuevotokyo.bsky.social on what would become VWFNDR™ + MBL: a camera app for Android (soon iOS) made with @nuxt.com and Capacitor. We released it to the public in May. Today, two months later, we just crossed 100K downloads and 1M photos taken. Thanks 🖤🟥

Promotional poster for a white smartphone camera app celebrating 100,000 downloads and 1,000,000 photos taken. Large gray numbers dominate the top against a black background, with pink accents and multilingual "Thank You" text. Below, branding and logos appear alongside a collage of the phone from multiple angles. The center phone displays a minimalist manual camera interface with shutter speed, ISO, focus distance, and exposure controls above a photo of pink cherry blossoms. The overall design is clean, futuristic, and monochrome with pink highlights.

But yeah, we still rolled our own verification platform trusting only ourselves (as not to attempt to pass as a conformant verifier), and designed it more for photographers: verify.vwfndr.camera?url=https://... (maybe you already know, sorry!)
