Maybe after being defeated and punished, he can be back and redeem himself aknowledging the hero's motivations as correct or maybe he could win in the end, proving the hero wrong and turning the table.

Probably an antihero: someone the hero can get some empathic connection to him/his motivations but still on the opposite side due to the current circumstances.

It's the mark of Time: what was a special place is now gone, replaces by simply nothing. Moments that will remain only in memory and that will never be experienced by others nowdays, kept as a precious treasure by those were there in the past.

In spite of being of the correct generation to have grown up while "Peanuts" was still in active publication, it's always a little surreal to be reminded that the most popular comic strip in the English-speaking world for fifty solid years was about an eight-year-old with clinical depression.

I literraly thrown the controller when I got from a friend the solution to the infamous "goat puzzle" of Broken Sword. A one-of-a-kind real time action moment (without any hint) in an old school point&click adventure?! It even got it's very own Wikipedia's page. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Goa...

Still a better plot than Twilight.

Shenmue is a milestane that younger players may not even know, but they should go and play it anyway: for its time was absolutly a masterpiece.

Really thankfull to amazingly talented @lurnoise.bsky.social for adding my fav page of her comic—Ekphrasis—to her store, so that I could get it to hang on my wall 💖

A terrace with several vegetables growing on it, with a canal running around it before going down on the next field.
The caption is "I know from experience and for a fact that in the past I've hurt myself following those desires, and that in the future I'll do so again."

In Daoist astrology, autumn is the time of the White Tiger of the West and the element of metal. It represents a movement inward, a time to reflect, to grieve, and to celebrate the good things life brings, in preparation for the harsh truths of winter. #WyrdWednesday

My father had a passion for old black&white horror movies, so I grew up watching those with all their monsters. When I played the very first Castlevania I was absolutly charmed to actually be able to be the one fighting them. Also: whip.

Cover for the original "Castlevania" game.

I really miss the monthly magazine about gamin. I always picked it up while going to school and read it asap, also during lessons.

It's something that is totally ok for launch or dinner, but in Italy breakfast is basically coffee/cappuccino/latte with brioche/croissant/biscuits. Everything else (with rare exception) is considered eresy.

Missing hints (even pretty plain) is something very common for tons of people, of every kind. We may have hurt others' feelings without even knowing it, but it's not really a fault afterall. Not everyone have that kind of "understanding" for that type of social interaction.

It was about time. This fix should've been implemented long ago. But at last it's here. Looking forward to the merge of EU's PFs.

Look at all the exceptional artworks you've already done, both professional commisions and for your (and our) own delight: how can you think that you don't posses the required skills? You wound't even have the commision in the first place if you don't already asserted yourself as a skilled artist.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Also is a classic that, if you survive poisonong, you develop a resistance to it. So seems pretty accurate to me.

Probably because of this particular moment in my life, I have been struck by this image about 9/11. I was a trenager when it happened and I indeed was being raised like History has ended and the future would have been a peacefull and radiant time, founded on democracy and freedom. What an irony.

A little blond girl in a blue dress standing on a grass field with the Twin Towers on her back.
The caption says: "the world you were raised to survive in, no longer exists."

The new character has raised the hype for a very big character's creation update over 9000. Let's hope she's not just a unique model with features that cannot be used by the players.

Yes, I belive that always be informed to what is happening in both our national and EU parliment is a duty of every citizen. By be informed, we can make decisions about our future.

Lightspoon @lightspoon.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

The serie is so underrated, overshadowed by the most recent NieR. I wouldn't dislike a remastered (not a reboot!) to bring it back into the spotlight. Afterall it's still part of the same universe and story.

010

Lightspoon @lightspoon.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Get away from Far Right negationism of climate crisis by empowering again Green Deal and other actions faster than ever; take more distance from US since they're no more a partner EU con relay on; EU need to get more and more integrated legislations instead of national (divisive) initiatives.
