See, sometimes Heroin Addicted Jazz Critic ideas are so good it fundamentally changes the character in that direction. Swamp Thing being a perfect example. Funny that that was Alan Moore too. It's not always bad, just weird. Constantine would suck if you didn't have any ideas like that. It depends.

#Lanterns has inspired me to want to coin a phase. And I’m gonna do it the best way possible. By stealing from the Simpsons. In s19 e7 Alan Moore says to Bart “So you like that I made your favorite superhero a heroin addicted jazz critic, who’s not radioactive?” That’s what Lanterns feels like.
