Avatar Seven Havens? Pretty damn good. So far. We’ll see. I’m noticing that the two main characters seem to parallel Aang and Korra directly. Not sure why exactly but it’s interesting. #AvatarTheLastAirbender

#Lanterns has inspired me to want to coin a phase. And I’m gonna do it the best way possible. By stealing from the Simpsons. In s19 e7 Alan Moore says to Bart “So you like that I made your favorite superhero a heroin addicted jazz critic, who’s not radioactive?” That’s what Lanterns feels like.

As a fan of hyper real pulp fiction I’m obligated to mention that I saw Onslaught. And yeah, it’s alright. Not really doing much I haven’t seen before. But it’s doing it pretty well. There is this one thing tho. How do I say it? This is one of the most casually schizotypal movies I’ve ever seen.

There’s a fahh! in the new issue of Batman…. I don’t really have a take for that but it is pretty funny. #DCcomics youtu.be/VP6eZu3SAak?...

Feel like I should have an opinion out there on Buddy. Saw it yesterday, I enjoyed it. It was fun and pretty much what I expected. It’s a feature length version of something like Too Many Cooks or Unedited Footage of a Bear. I’m sure someone will say that as a negative but to me it’s cool. #film

This feels totally different than Superman. And that's a good thing because this is PEEEEEEAK. It's adult but not juvenile. Or like it thinks it's above the material. The writing.... the part where the characters talk to each other about things and stuff? God DAMN. They cooked. That it. #Lanterns

So Avengers Doom’s Day just got a trailer and I want to take that as an opportunity to say The Furious is going to end up being the best action movie of the year. So when you all complain about ADD being the death of cinema, I bring this up and you say, huh? I’m gonna laugh my ass off.

Then I do MAW Martian Manhunter. I go a little darker with this and give it a Death Note vibe. MM must solve a murder with other great detectives. Maybe with a secret identity. Something like the classic combined with Absolute.

What do you do with Batman honestly? What do you get for the man who has everything? I guess I’d adapt the Wayne Family Adventures with some of The Batman’s tone? I like the Sentai idea so I use those aesthetics too.

Next thing I do is take a few ideas from Yu Yu Hakusho. With Wonder Woman I’d keep the characterization close to her comics. With Shazam I’m keeping the newer punk with a heart of gold Billy cause that’s what I like and I think it fits. Very monster of the week school setting.

Did you ever get an assignment in school where you immediately knew you were in your bag? *knuckle crack I gotta start with Wonder Wonder. First thing I do is apply a lot of the plot structure of Inuyasha. The action/romance mix. The road trip adventure. Eda Candy, Wonder Girl, Artemis, Nubia.

I'm sure my close personal friend Adam Reed will be happy to know that he got worse over time. I get a lot of "Sea Lab is good actually" comments, and i'm always like "was I too mean to Sea Lab" and... NO If anything I like Sea Lab more than it likes itself.

I liked this. It’s basically a meta explanation for why DC hasn’t don’t much with the Milestone characters. With a vague promise at the end to do… something about it at some point. It explains the basics of Milestone. It works for what it is. #Comics #DCcomics
