Future Indeagó!! They’re doing a little less superhero work these days but are still plenty active in their community, both in and out of costume. Not to mention raising a couple kids with Red Lantern, their beloved husband ☺️

Siobhan getting advice from her very helpful, very normal teammates. Nobody gives life advice like ex-villains! (Credit to @flyingpigposts.bsky.social for the two fellas on the right!)

Doing my level best to come up with proper outfits for my Silver Banshee redesign. It's tough to hit the mark of her original look while also making her feel like a scary possessed singer, but it's been fun to play around with different options.

New banner!! I want to do a version where it's raining too, maybe animate it a little?

Silver Banshee in that classic “being abandoned by the force she was a vessel for” era… and more importantly her buzzcut era

Naoise's arm tattoos are loosely based off of a model of Celtic tattoos from the 3rd century BC. I added the harp design on their forearm bc it's an important cultural motif and a nod to their love of the arts. Their hip tattoos are just made-up designs and not intended to reflect anything historic!

Naoise studies!! I've put myself in the torment nexus of fun character design vs. twenty small details to always remember 8|

Rainey and Tony go way back, so she and Hayes very quickly built a friendship over roasting his ass. She's glad to know there's always somebody around to call him on his nonsense!

Vesper Howie @lightningidle.bsky.social · 30/09/2025

Tony: I can’t have you dweebs stinkin’ up the joint, what if I wanna get laid? Hayes: get la- by WHOM?? Tony: UHH SOMEBODY YOU DON’T KNOW Hayes: MY MAN WE HAVE THE SAME SOCIAL CIRCLE

Vesper Howie @lightningidle.bsky.social · 30/09/2025

Mechanic AU?? This started from wanting to draw Tony in a jumpsuit and then sort of spiraled from there. Hayes manages scheduling/marketing/basically everything in the garage that isn't actually fixing the cars.

Tony from Date Everything in a mechanic jumpsuit next to a Date Everything oc

Hayes is trying DESPERATELY to keep their crush on the downlow… and thankfully Tony is dense(?) so it’s working! For now.

000

Vesper Howie @lightningidle.bsky.social · 18/09/2025

Tony accidentally giving Hayes a heart attack — he thinks he’s just joshing his buddy, but Hayes needs to go do some deep breathing 8|

000

Vesper Howie @lightningidle.bsky.social · 18/09/2025

I thought about Hayes’ helmet prongs being able to emote for .2 seconds and nOW IT IS CANON. Of course it wouldn’t really work like that, but… suspension of disbelief, baby!

000

Vesper Howie @lightningidle.bsky.social · 17/09/2025

Hayes has a huge giant world-ending crush on Tony. The two met when they brought him some broken toys to fix- now they're moony over him. But the way he talks, they're pretty sure the feelings wouldn't be reciprocated, so the helmet stays ON whenever they're around him. More on that later!

000

Vesper Howie @lightningidle.bsky.social · 17/09/2025

I like the idea of Hayes and Chance being cousins, since their (general) properties are owned by the same toy company. They're good buddies!!

100

Vesper Howie @lightningidle.bsky.social · 13/09/2025

Hayes is also kind of a love letter to all my own collectibles, so it was fun deciding which nerd media would get lumped into their Scavenger outfit! And adding additional bits of junk they've picked up along the way, like their aux cord belt and the helmet they made out of a broken power plug.

010

Vesper Howie @lightningidle.bsky.social · 13/09/2025

Date Everything has been so much fun that I'm returning to my middle school roots — making a self-insert oc! Hayes Brough is the personification of toys and collectibles. Specifically, those that gather dust, fall off shelves or get left in storage.

Trying to loosen up my line work a little with some Luck outfits! Also trying to find good colors for them outside the Crow default of purple everything

Vesper Howie @lightningidle.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

This started partially because I'm rewatching THE foundational Vesper show, Transformers Animated, and realizing how good its visual style is for Transformers specifically. The human designs are... there, but the Transformer designs are peak. Prowl alone is a GREAT example of shape language!

Luck the Crow!! I have to share at least one drawing of them looking cool, before revealing that they're kind of a goofball who's really fumbling their way through both this whole Rook thing and dating a possessed mage killer.

Lucanis but the demonic possession is also Howl Pendragon style. Do you see my vision. Do you.
