A little something about the other main Monster Heart couple, Juliet and Romeo, because I don't talk about them as much, even though I really should, because Jules and Meo have a really fun dynamic💜🩶

I've mentioned this before, but I think that for at least one Halloween in the main canon, Luke and Melody would just rewear their outfits from the play (save some time, money, and closet space), and I just got hit with this random scene idea based on that fact:

051

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Didn't know what to expect going in, but you know I can kinda see it🤔 (Now I'm tempted to do this quiz from the perspective of my OCs and see what they would get🤭)

020

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Oh it's hard to pick just one character to submit for this, but I think I'm going to submit Melody, though if you'd rather that I pick a different character, let me know💚

110

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Since you are one of the best artists of merfolk I know, it seems fitting to put Melody up to be judged for this🩵

110

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Since foxes/kemonomimi in general are the type of characters I associate most with you, it only seems right to put my fox girl up for judging (even though her ref sheet is 3+ years old at this point and a little messy😅) If you'd rather have a more recent character design to judge just say the word

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

New OC just dropped! ... well technically I've mentioned her before, just now there's a face to the name Meet Juliet, another Monster Heart team member and Luke's cousin Her birthday was on the 12th, but I didn't have time to finish this then, so it's a belated birthday thing😅 Hope yall like her💚

Half-body art of Juliet. She has shoulder-length reddish-brown hair and green-hazel eyes, and she is wearing a purple hoodie over a light purple shirt. Purple Gladiolus flowers line the bottom of the drawing (not part of her design, just how I sometimes like to decorate bust/half-body drawings)

Technical issues are an unfortunately common occurrence for any streamer Some of them are funny. Sometimes they make it look like the streamer has lost it... which then leads to them actually losing it once they realize the issue😅 But hey, I couldn't ask for better people to go crazy with😅

051

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Went to the OB-GYN earlier today, and there was a kinda fun thing that happened during it... and also a not-so-fun bit😅 (Everything's okay, I promise, don't worry💚)

020

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

And I also suppose if we wanted to stick to her main canon version, she could also be a mermaid toy since that's what she is in the main canon (though this form does not have a proper ref outside of this image) Of course these are just suggestions, I'd be happy with whatever idea yall come up with

Melody's mermaid form (the best ref I have of it unfortunately😅. I'm also completely fine with people doing their own interpretations of her tail, people can simplify it as much as they want)

120

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Oh this sounds like such fun!😊 While I do think Luke would make quite an adorable soft plush (fitting for his kind nature), I know Melody is a particular favorite amongst yall so it only seems right to submit her (with refs of both forms so you can take your pick. I'm also okay with a new outfit)

Melody's main canon regular/civilian form

As some may remember, as part of my Vtuber Summer Slam campaign, for every $50 I raised, I would crochet a plushie of a random Team Cherish member's solo-run Pokémon. And the first of these plushies is done! It's Breloom! (who wasn't a wheel spin but a donated request by @itsalsoaruby.bsky.social)💚

I wanted to join in on this too💚 As usual, I can't pick a favorite between these two, so pick whichever one is your favorite, or you can answer for both if you're feeling like it

I finally got around to editing a clip from my channel! Was reading my old writing live, which led to the only time you'll see a group of people say that Melody's dad was right lol (Also if anyone who does shorts could tell me when the best time to upload this to youtube is, that'd be great😊)

063

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Don't really know that much about Undertale, but this seemed fun, so I tried it too😊 Did one for myself as well as Luke and Melody and um... we all got Kindness haha they're more like me than I thought😅 Also interesting seeing Luke and Melody be the same for top two and almost inverse for the rest

071

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

A little Fox and Wolf scene I came up with, since they haven't gotten much attention since their debut. Main idea: Fox and Wolf, both undercover at a high society event, having to ballroom dance with each other to keep their respective covers *I can also totally see this scene as a short comic*

Random thing I would like to see animated if I had the skills to do it myself or the money to hire someone else:

Something about River and Melody just hit me and I need to talk about it because *feral internal screaming*:

190

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Melody didn't just want freedom; she wanted something that felt safe and someone who truly loved her. Until River was willing to put his fears aside and not hesitate, she knew she would never have that safety with him. She made that realization far before he did, even if it hurt to admit it was true

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

When you are having so many thoughts about a character that only shows up in the plot more than halfway through, and even then, doesn't actually get that much attention, but you still find them interesting and want to ramble about them

0131

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Remember how I came up with some ideas for what Melody's interactions with her mother would be like when she came home briefly during the Fairytale AU Well I decided to expand one of those ideas a bit into a scene snippet, enjoy💚 (Also for context, River is the boy her father wants her to be with)

12. While I love Melody (and I know she's probably yall's favorite), I think Luke is probably my favorite character He's my stupidly kind, funny, optimistic monster boy💚 Adding this @pkmnblossompink.bsky.social art to this response cause I think she perfectly captured the kind of Luke energy I love

10. Have you seen the average Luke and Melody romance scene? Probably the most wholesome duo I have lol But if yall want some specific instances, here are some of my favorite sweet Luke and Melody moments😊

Congrats on 800 followers! I'm Belle, and the story I've been working on is a Beauty and the Beast retelling, where the Beauty is running away from childhood trauma and the Beast is just a nice guy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time; whimsical romantic hijinks and trauma bonding ensue.

Something I've been thinking about recently is what kind of music would represent my OCs both individually and as a couple (so like what their leitmotif/theme is) So here's my thoughts for Luke and Melody. Interested to hear what people think of my ideas and what ideas people have for their own OCs

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

As for your question on a visual reference for Luke's Beast form, I don't have a proper ref sheet or anything drawn for it cause I'm not that confident in my ability to draw non-humans (ironic considering the characters I write😅) Best I have is this written-out description from Melody's POV

000

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Circling back to this post, I think these two scenes would be really good test scenes for a Luke VA (and also a Melody VA for the first one) You get a lot of Luke's emotional range here (compassion, humor, introspectiveness, self-doubt, etc), so it'd be a good way to test if they can do that range🤔

Scene 1, From the Fairytale AU short story "A Moment in the Garden" on my Toyhouse page

Scene 2, from Chapter 5 of the Fairytale AU on my Toyhouse page

I've been teasing this for a bit but I think it's finally time that yall got properly introduced to another duo of my OCs, Fox and Wolf🦊🐺 These ref sheets were made like 3ish years ago, eventually I'll redo them, but they work for now😅 Fox: toyhou.se/40492232.vic... Wolf: toyhou.se/40492236.cha...

QRP with the OC you're brainrotting the most about~ I could say it's Fox/Wolf since their introduction is soon, but we all know the duo that will forever be taking up my brain space (Also gives me an excuse to show off the adorable art @pkmnblossompink.bsky.social has done of them, pls follow her)

Art I did of Luke and Melody for Valentine's Day last year

Pink's adorable magical mermaid Melody art, I've gushed about this piece so many times, it's wonderful💚

The new Luke art that Pink did. The full bit of me fangirling over this can be found in the comments of her original post, but to summarize, I absolutely love this. I love the expression she gave him, it feels so him (trying to be cool and confident but secretly caring so much about what others think). And like have you seen how Pink does eyes, absolutely stunning

Belle (Art Fight: Team Mystery)💚✨ @lightningbugbelle.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

I don't know if she counts cause her hair is blue and green, but Melody's magical girl form feels very summer coded to me💚

Still not ready to do a full intro for Fox and Wolf yet, but here's a little fun fact about them that hopefully endears them to you enough to want to hear more... Fox and Wolf look all tough and serious, but they also both have paw print patterns on the soles of their combat boots, which is cute😊

Now that Art Fight has rolled around, I feel like I should properly introduce my OCs Fox and Wolf on here because they're the only characters on my Art Fight page that yall don't really know about (Also because Luke and Wolf's friendship gives me all the feels, a little sneak peek at it below🥹)

During stream when picking which old story to read live, we were between one for Victor and Eliza and one for Ray and Wyatt. Ray and Wyatt won out and while I like the story of theirs we read, I was a little disappointed I didn't get to see people's reactions to my favorite Eliza bit, which is this😅
