Finished my #mending from #Halloween ! So many tombstones to fix, & then there was this goofy indoor prop that kept cracking at the top. After several attempts with different types of glue (super, hot, E6000), I taped it, gesso'd the tape & painted. Don't look too close & it's great 😂
Halloween prop that looks like gross pipes with a lightbulb at the top. When you press the button the light flickers & there's sound effects of electricity static, zapping and failing. It's pretty clear where I mended it because the paint colors are a bit off.

Creating stackable paper tray designs for 3DPrinting on Tinkercad, I've learned things: - Take advantage of custom workplane dimensions in the settings - Making 2 or more things that're meant to fit together: make 2 identical things, not 1 whole thing you'll split up later. It gets so messy

Trying this again for the afternoon...
More extra pieces of filament in the tiny molds. Fingers crossed they get into the detailed bits of the molds... 10 minutes at 375 F

Update: They're not melting into the details - I think there's need for more #PLA, more smaller pieces of PLA for this. So back to my workspace #3DPrinting #Recycling
Partially melted PLA in the small charms silicone mold. Small flakes of green PLA await placement inside.

This morning's experiments with baking leftover PLA from #3DPrinting into smaller silicone molds - this one has several charm shapes. Requires some doing with the heat gun first to melt them into balls small enough to fit, and into the air fryer (to bake) they go 👀 #PLA #3DPrints
Little balls of PLA that were heated by my heat gun to fit into the charm molds that will get baked. My PLA in the oven melting down.
