Scout also has kidney disease & also just finished a round of antibiotics for a UTI that didn’t do anything (so may be a kidney infection). Now for 6 more weeks (!) of meds. Hope Sweet Pea’s pills clear it up and she’s feeling better soon.🤞🏻🤞🏻

Since marching picture books with articles seems to be my m.o. today, this fantastic story has an equally fantastic book to go with it.

TBH, I almost gave up on this. The main character is unbelievably nonchalant about dealing with the horrors in her house (until you get to know her) & I worried it would be a silly book instead of a spooky one. I am SO glad I stuck with it. The September House was such an unexpectedly unique story.
