Para quienes conocen la situación del tráfico en la #Rotonda Robert #Schuman y además entienden #castellano, no sé si el nombre de la empresa, combinado con el eslogan en inglés, les resultará muy tranquilizador. 😅

Una valla de obra cubre parte de una calle en una zona moderna de Bruselas. La valla tiene una lona de colores beige y rojo con el logotipo “COLAS” y el lema en inglés “We open the way” (“Abrimos el camino”). Detrás se ve un gran edificio de cristal y metal con forma curva: el Berlaymont, sede de la Comisión Europea. De mens en de chimpansee zitten eigenlijk nog dichter op elkaar.

Afbeelding van een taxonomisch netwerk dat de biologische classificatie van het geslacht Pan (chimpansees en bonobo’s) toont. Helemaal links begint de hiërarchie met “Animalia” (dierenrijk). Dat is ook weer waar. Maar de geslachten Pycnodonte en Ostrea zitten toch vrij dicht op elkaar.

Wist je dat in oud handschrift de g en de h sterk op elkaar konden lijken. Waarbij de h ook een krul naar beneden en de g een krul naar boven had. Hier wat voorbeelden. Dat staat echter los van de kwestie van de uitspraak van beide letters door West-Vlamingen. www.demorgen.be/nieuws/waaro...

Na twee weken dan toch maar een e-mail gestuurd aan de veronderstelde #verwerkingsverantwoordelijke voor de beelden die door deze m.i. onwettig geplaatste #camera worden gemaakt.

De afbeelding toont een e-mail met als onderwerp "beveiligingscamera in raam gelijkvloers - Re: Camera". In de mail bedankt de afzender voor de eerdere reactie en legt hij zijn bezorgdheid uit over een bewakingscamera aan een adres in het centrum van Brussel. De camera staat in een raam op het gelijkvloers en filmt naar buiten, mogelijk op straat. Hij verwijst naar de wetgeving die zegt dat dit niet zomaar mag. Op de afbeelding zie je een nieuwsbericht van VRT NWS. Bovenaan staat een tweet met de tekst: “Temperaturen halveren dit weekend: ‘Fris voor tijd van het jaar’”. Daaronder zie je een foto van twee mensen die met paraplu’s over een natte winkelstraat lopen. Eén persoon draagt een lichtgroene jas en een oranje tas. De ander draagt een jas met zwart-wit patroon. Ze lopen langs een terras met lege stoelen en tafels. Onder de foto staat een nieuwsartikel met als titel: “Na zomerse dagen zakt temperatuur dit weekend naar 14 graden”. In de tekst staat dat de temperatuur dit weekend sterk daalt. Dat zegt weerman Bram Verbruggen. De sfeer op de foto is nat en koel, wat past bij het nieuws over het koude weer.

‘s Morgens op weg naar het werk passeer ik aan een DELYS Station® met ‘DUBAI Chocolates, now available!’ Ik kijk altijd vol afgrijzen naar wat daar in de vitrine staat. Om nog maar te zwijgen van het feit dat zo’n reep chocolade met pistache 17 euro kost. Dan loop ik liever even bij Neuhaus langs.

Slechte punten voor de #website van @vrtnws.be. De aparte en duidelijke knoppen voor “Vraag over dit nieuws?”, “Zelf nieuws melden?” en “Fout opgemerkt?” zitten nu achter een obscuur klein tekstballonnetje dat weinig of niets suggereert. #VRTNWS

Deze afbeelding toont een scherm van een nieuwswebsite of -app. Bovenaan staat de titel “Stel je vraag” in paarse letters. Daaronder staan drie opties in een lijst:
1. “Vraag over dit nieuws?” met een paars vraagtekenpictogram ervoor.
2. “Zelf nieuws melden?” met een paars spraakballonnetje ervoor.

@wespenstichting.nl @wespenvriend.nl Zie bijgevoegde foto’s. Iemand heeft dit nest aan een balk in de slaapkamer en vraagt wat het zou kunnen zijn. Ik heb nog gevraagd hoe groot het is, of het nog bewoond is en of er binnenin raten zitten. Maar misschien hebben jullie zo al een idee?

De afbeelding toont twee close-upfoto’s van een grijs (wespen?)nest, bevestigd aan een houten balk. Links zie je het nest van de zijkant. Het heeft een druppelvorm en lijkt gemaakt van papierachtig materiaal. Aan de bovenkant zit een klein steeltje waarmee het nest vastzit aan het hout. Rechts zie je het nest van onderen. In het midden zit een rond zwart gat: dit is de ingang van het nest. Het hout waarop het nest hangt is bruin en ruw, met zichtbare nerven. De achtergrond is een lichtere houten wand. De foto is een beetje wazig, maar het nest is goed te herkennen.

Een vraagje over #privacy (wetgeving België/EU). Is het toegelaten dat een persoon of een handelszaak zonder meer een #camera achter zijn raam plaatst en deze naar buiten, naar de straatkant richt? Zie foto. Nergens zag ik het verplichte #pictogram met de wettelijke vermeldingen.

Op de foto zie je een witte beveiligingscamera van het merk EZVIZ. De camera staat binnen achter een raam en is gericht naar buiten. Hij staat op de originele doos van het product. De camera heeft een ronde vorm en een zwart voorpaneel met vier kleine lampjes rond de lens. Er branden drie blauwe lampjes op de camera, wat waarschijnlijk aangeeft dat hij actief is. Op de doos onder de camera staat “Smart Home Camera” en zijn verschillende functies afgebeeld, zoals nachtzicht en weerbestendig ontwerp. De camera en doos staan in een vensterbank. Je ziet ook een stukje van de straat buiten en een weerspiegeling van een persoon in het raam.
