The mood in the Library feels strangely... tense, right now. I wonder if there's any trouble going on.

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 02/06/2025

Can't say I ever got the chance to. My parents always drove me places whenever we had to go somewhere in our Nest, and whenever we'd go somewhere far, we always had the money to spare for warp trains...... I'd rather not think about that, actually.

Hehe... wish I could swing around the City using Red Eyes, that sounds nice.

I wonder if Patron Librarians can even manifest or distort... we're entirely made of Light now, and we all have been through Core Meltdowns and Suppressions in the past, and I don't think any of us understands exactly *how* they affected our minds.

All cats are meant to be boop'd!

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

Not really, no... It was probably lost in L. Corp's destruction, together with my old body. I could probably ask Angela for a recreation of it, but... I don't really feel any need for that. It should be left in the past.

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 14/05/2025

Oh, those books aren't actually ones we manage, they're more just... decoration? They kinda just... automatically manifest in those stairs based on the amount of books we're managing on the floor area proper, almost as if to be an indicator of how full the Floor of Literature is.

I didn't expect even the Outskirts to start flooding a little... not that it's any threat to the Library at the moment, but still... everyone, please stay safe out there!

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 09/05/2025

It's a well guarded secret... (It's cute cat pics and yuri)

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

I'd look for any bald people nearby. If there aren't any, I run away. I'm not risking losing my hair! Although... worst case scenario, I guess it'd be easy for Angela to make it grow back?

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

Sorry everyone for not being that active recently, I got hooked into this cool game that released recently and haven't been able to stop playing it...

070

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Hm... "Smartest" is a very wide category. If we're talking academic smarts, Hokma would fill that spot, he *was* one of Angela's creators after all, and either Yesod or Tiphereth would be in second place. Wisest? Binah, no doubt. Street smarts? Roland.

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

Yeah! He's always trotting around or taking a nap somewhere in the Floor of History. He's a real cutie!

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 21/04/2025

I... don't really know? Never really tried counting that high. If I knew there was a competition coming, I'd try to learn those special techniques that assist in counting, but... as I am right now, I could probably count to a thousand or so, I think.

...Why wouldn't we? Our bodies may be made out of light, sure, but they're biologically very similar to normal humans, still. I try to take at least one shower every day!

I don't think the book's powers should be wasted in such a manner. And besides, I don't think T Corp can freely rewind time like that?

050

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 09/04/2025

The cat-ifying book? It... isn't based on an Abnormality, as far as I'm aware? None of us have a clue where it came from, and it definitely wasn't in any of L. Corp's records, at least not any that I had access to.

Can't take it out of Library grounds, but feel free to use it inside here!

The Bloom Into You series! I find the character writing really engaging, with a nice depth to it and a good balance between sweety fluff and drama.

As in like, 3 whole days of everyone being cats, followed by 4 days where no cats can be seen at all? That could be fun...

Everyone out there in the City, please stay safe and remain indoors!

Yes, you would! It's not a matter of just joining, though. You have to actively participate in at least one meeting!

Hm... I don't think I'd particularly want to change them, at least not permanently? I think it might be cute if I were able to change them at will depending on my mood, though!

It is a tragic tale, one which can teach people a valuable lesson, while also serving as an interesting metaphor for the City. I find the fact it can serve so many purposes quite fascinating!

Some of my assistant librarians got curious about the way I fight when I'm resonating with the Red Shoes. For safety reasons, I never let them be around when I do that, so I tried describing my fighting style in this format which I've learned people are familiar with. Please give me your thoughts!

Although I am fond of the hod dog joke, I actually prefer burgers! They're just more tasty to me, especially when comparing burger patties with sausages. Patties are much better!

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

Basically, my outfit is an inner long-sleeved white shirt, a plain black skirt, and a long coat! I think you might be confused with the way the coat opens from the waist down, which lets the black skirt be visible?

Hod @librarian-hod.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

Mainly about library work right now. We recently got a pretty big pile of unsorted books without a clear source, so classifying them and placing them in the right sections has been taking a while. Looking forward to my break in a few hours, though!
