The motion passed at Green Party Conf' actively undermines a 2-state solution, and does not address the rising threats of Islamophobia and Antisemitism here in the UK. This is a divisive motion that pours fuel on the fire of tensions in the UK, and will leave many British Jews feeling less safe.

So this is what is has come to - the Conservative Party are now banning candidates from standing in elections who don't believe we should be trying to meet our 2050 net zero target or that we should be signed up to the ECHR - watch out any sitting Tory MP who thought they were in a safe seat!

A big thank you to Sainsbury's in Wareham for taking disposable BBQ's off of their shelves 🎉 In hot, dry conditions like this summer, these disposable BBQs are a major preventable ignition source. Try using a fixed or reusable BBQ in a safe, designated area, or swap to a picnic or cold meal instead

It's beyond belief that Farage can resign & then stand in the byelection in the same breath. For someone complaining about media attention it seems a rather strange way to get the media off his back. Perhaps he should use his £5m to fund the election, instead of tax payers footing the bill!

MPs shouldn't be able to pocket huge payments from TV channels without treating them as political donations. If money is used to support or influence politicians, it's political funding, and it must be declared and regulated.

Our current First Past the Post voting system really needs to change. When you look at some results from the recent local elections most people who voted did not vote for the elected candidate. How can that be fair? No wonder some can't be bothered to vote at all!

Swift bricks to be installed in all new buildings in Scotland after Holyrood backs ruling
Rest of UK has so far resisted calls to make it mandatory for developers to install bricks that provide nesting for swifts and other endangered birds Swift bricks will be installed in all new buildings in Scotland after the Scottish parliament voted in favour of a law to help endangered cavity-nesting birds. The Scottish government and MSPs across the parties backed an amendment by Scottish Green Mark Ruskell to make swift bricks mandatory for all new dwellings “where reasonably practical and appropriate”.
