Thank you! I'm a beginner in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of central CA, just put in 51 plants this fall, including the Ceanothus pictured in its gopher cage, and a few more to go, all CA natives. It makes my heart sing to restore the land in this small but mighty way.
