I can tell my grammar is probably all over the place, but I'm a little disturbed over some of the shit I saw, so I apologize for the especially broken nature of my posts at the moment.

Unsure if she has a bluesky, but I picked up Lies by Doireann Ní Ghríofa, a book of Irish language poetry with English translations from the library on a whim. She's my new favorite poet.

Took my time to reorient myself and work on getting my health back in order. Will still probably use Irish to obfuscate certain opinions in case they get cracked down on and to avoid weirdoes.

The classic move from 20th century organizing (specifically Food not Bombs, but definitely not invented by them) once you've identified who the likely LEO is in your group: Talk face-to-face without them, give them all the worst jobs to do, and make sure that they're the one paying for gas.

Autistic meltdowns are not choices or behavior, but the nervous system vomiting, an overload of sensory/emotional hell that has passed a point of regulation. Care for someone after a meltdown like you would a seizure. Give time, space, and comfort. Do NOT blame or guilt. We already feel terrible.

Kind of, in that it does only appear in the positive. It's more relic particle that Munster held onto as a prefix for pret., imp., and cond. forms. Other dialects hold onto it as d' in verbs that start with vowel phonemes. It turns into níor in the pret. and ní in the cond. and imp. in the negative.

CreationThe blurb for Roevember 2024, reading:

Greetings and welcome to Roevember 2024!

Boreal Tempest and Roe Fizzlebeef here! As you may know, Roevember is a community event for Roegadyn players to come together to celebrate our characters through screenshots, art, stories, and anything else we can imagine. Despite the persistently small size of the Roegadyn community, we've been treated to amazing work from all the creative people behind our big lugs every year. We're excited to see what you create this time!

As we launch, the realities of the current social media landscape aren't lost on us. Both of us have moved almost exclusively to Bluesky, so that's where we'll be promoting the event this year. We understand that much of our community is still on Twitter or other platforms and we absolutely encourage people to crosspost the prompt list and this blurb wherever you'd like! We just want to bring our little community together and have a good time, wherever that happens.

- If you'd like to participate, we encourage you to use the hashtag #RoevemberXIV. The US election may once again make #Roevember a tag with many political posts and we want to keep them separated as much as possible.
- As always, please use #RoevemberNSFW if you intend to post NSFW content and set an adult-content flag on your post if posting on Bluesky.
- Finally, regarding the gearset themes: the intent of these prompts is to share glamours using items actually in-game. As such we encourage you to use non-modded gear here - the use of mods for these prompts in specific would defeat the purpose.

Thank you as always for joining us! We're so happy to have you with us once again!

Roe Fizzlebeef and Boreal Tempest

A horrifying cartoon for Halloween (originally for Guardian Books).
Halloween horror!

Horrifying:
1. Floating skull
2. Evil fog
3.Slime fiend

Utterly horrifying:
1. Floating skull who borrows books and never returns them.
2. Evil fog with some really awful opinions (it is saying we've got the internet so we don't need libraries")
3. Slime fiend who browses bookshops then buys online

Jack-o'-lanterns keep the spirits of Halloween at bay, but so do masks and treats: if someone trick or treating were to encounter a spirit without those, they would surely be accosted and left for dead. Masks make the spirits think the child is one of them. #FairytaleTuesday

Jack was a cunning soul, barred from Heaven but denied by Hell because of a bargain he made with Satan: thus forced to wander Earth eternally, he took hellfire and put it in a turnip: thus were born Jack's Lanterns, or Jack-O-Lanterns. #FairytaleTuesday 🖼️: J. Ukropina

These were three individual pieces I did in 2021. Unplanned, they became something of an accidental sequence. They then prompted me to make the piece in the quoted post, of the pumpkin dance, by way of a conclusion. Ink on Fabriano Medioevalis, each 95 × 64 mm.
Three small silhouette drawings in black ink. The first is of a sitting fox, looking back over its shoulder at a bird on the branch of a little bare shrub. The second has a playful-looking fox, half-crouched, tail in the air, looking at a bird which has just taken off from a branch. The third shows a fox, surprised, its head drawn slightly back, as it seems to have come upon a pumpkin on the ground, surrounded by its vines. It has a face like a carved jack-o'-lantern.
