In recent months, I’ve used Claude Science a lot for brainstorming and scripting. It's definitely useful. But for complex, interdisciplinary research? Surprisingly useless. Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed. Anyone else having similar experiences?

I have had the #NanoVNA for a while to play with #NMR Tuning and matching, but I never connected it to the computer. Yesterday, I finally did it, using my Apple Macbook and the software NanoVNASaver: volpefirm.com/apps. It's very useful!

I’m weak—I couldn’t resist! Today, I recorded an even better spectrum of isolated water in CDCl₃. 5 μL of 10% ¹⁷O-enriched water in 600 μL of CDCl₃, with some agitation for dispersion. Similar to Mateescu’s 1979 results, but the earliest ¹⁷O NMR of water vapor I know is from 1967 (Florin & Alei).
