Update: I got the thing, the FINAL SWORD, 54 floors into the eponymous Spectral Tower. Once I hit Weapon level 120 almost all of my inventory items have become useless.

Lexichu the Item Hunter's inventory; proudly highlighted and top of the list is the Godslayer Sword. A weapon which grants 3x your combat level against every enemy type, and is an infinite use full heal/status cleanse.

Basically the game is largely won now outside of climbing the remaining 10,950 floors with the Warp Rods.

I've been avoiding using the warp items to make use of my higher Search odds to pick up a ton of items. Got quite a few Woodpecker Balls... which is an odd thing to say even in context! 🤣 Wanted to see if I could get the x3 all sword early; got the baton so far but nowhere near the weapon level. :D

Finally, I'm free of the 100 floor tower in Spectral Tower, and a dragon that two-shots me - if I'm lucky. Onwards to the 1000 floor tower!

Lexichu the Item Hunter scored a critical hit against the Queen Rose Dragon, defeating it instantly and stopping her reign of pelting me with 600+ damage dragon breath versus my 266 maximum health.

I beat a stinky necromancer today. He was actually a decent fight, but only really put out heavy damage at the end by getting out of range since my rotation for Necromancy is heavily melee focused. Story mode was half max HP, so some gearing up will be needed to farm him.

Rasial looms over my RS3 character as a floating green head, like he is the Wizard of Oz's projection. He has been defeated.

I forgot to change my cosmetic override from the Elite Black Knight set, a fashion-scape faux pas.

Looking back on it, I think the weirdest thing that's had a positive result in the end was open-sourcing my memory viewing programs for Monster Rancher 2 and 3... because someone claimed I hid racist messages in them. If you ever feel useless in life, remember that you can pay 100,000 coins in Runescape 3 to have a portal to King Black Dragon made in War's Domain. It is a five second walk from the entirely free Lodestone network. Prayer refresh? Edgeville Monastery to the south. Bank chest/heal? Walk east.

Joy. Found out I lost the VOD of my "Can I beat FFX-2 using only in-game methods at level 1" as well as my spreadsheet of monster data I'd collected to have every creature creator monster at levels 1 and 99. Liberating that I don't have to go back to the Lv.1 X-2 mines, but frustrating it's lost.

What am I actually supposed to say when people ask how I'm doing? If I say that I'm good - I'm lying. If I say that "I'm doing awful, thanks for asking!" - people look at me weird. It's always struck me weird that people ask for a life update as social lubrication, rather than genuine interest.
