Goldie has been fed. Has he eaten it? No. He has turned down tinned food, chicken, and even a slice of bacon offered in desperation. Orange triangles only.
An orange cat sits on the arm of a green recliner. He's looking straight at the camera. His left ear is all crumpled from a problem he had as a kitten. It's amazing he's as fat as he is when the only thing he eats are the orange triangles out of his kibble. He's probably got a second family feeding him nothing but cake or something.

This is Freeloader. He likes the idea of pets, but does not want to be petted ever. Not even once.
A photo of a white cat with grey cow spots. The cat is loafed in the middle of the road. He looks annoyed, probably because I looked at him. My god, is this cat fat.

This is Miss Priss. She has zero survival instinct. Here she is sleeping on a rug on the porch. At least it's safer than her usual spot, in the middle of the driveway.
A small grey cat with white mittens sleeps on a blue rug. The rug is shaded, but the street behind is brightly lit. The cat is in a deep slumber, unaware of everyone clomp-stomping around trying to get shit done.

This is Goldie. He is an exceptionally picky eater. He hasn't eaten all morning, because he has run out of his preferred food. His human cooked him some chicken for breakfast, but Goldie refused to have any of that nonsense. He must only eat the finest orange triangles in existence. #cats
A ginger cat, sat backlit on a sofa. He is giving a sideways look to the photographer. He cannot believe the service in this place, and now on top of everything else he's being papped.

My favourite bus stop in Portland. Behind Union Station, for the coach to Woodburn.
Photo of a collection of empty lots. Traffic cones are scattered everywhere. The foreground is shaded by a raised section of road, while Portland's very silly skyline stands in the distant sun. It's all very industrial, but also strangely calm.

Today, I find Watson stuffing his face after falling off a leaf, while Kumar shits all over the glass. #shittyphotosofsnails
A shitty photo of my snails in a rainforest-themed vivarium. The glass is smudged up from having recently been misted. It badly needs to be cleaned, but a snail is in the way and I don't want to bother him. The whole thing is bright red, because my phone's camera sensor loses its fucking mind about the grow lights. In the bottom left quadrant, is a large food dish. A yellow-ish snail sits outside, with its face straight down into the greul. In the upper right quadrant is a brown snail, stuck to the glass of the vivarium. One can barely make out dark trail of poo coming out of it.

There's an unsettling clown on my Obsidian graph
A screenshot of Obsidian, a research and project tracking tool. Its primary display is of a colour-coded node graph. The way the colours are grouped has created a smiley face. The eyes are both a single white dot, surrounded by satellite red dots. In the centre is a big, round nose of blues and yellows. And its mouth is a wide, cheshire cat grin in a combination of all of the colours. Its gormless face, and the angle of it facing downward somehow adds to the unsettle factor.

Has similar energy to this classic
A four panel comic. As follows:

Panel 1: An older black woman with phenomenal RBF is stood in an open door. She's looking at the apparent figure of a man, offering a bouquet of flowers in apology. Caption reads 'I'm sorry, Ms Jackson (ooo).'

Panel 2: we see the face of the man. He's not a man at all! He is four eels in a cheap black suit. Caption reads 'I am four eels.'

Panel 3: a younger woman runs away in tears, while a green, pallid hand reaches out. A speech bubble pointing off frame to the eels reads, 'baby, wait.' Caption reads, 'Never meant to make your daughter cry.'

Panel 4: a mass of eels slithers and writhes about on the floor, making a right mess out of that cheap suit. Caption reads, 'I am several fish and not a guy.'

The comic credits JNALV for the script and Dami_Lee for the art. In a stunning twist of irony, I may have misspelled the script writer's name, because it is too small for me to read and I can't zoom in on it properly.

I have a lot of coats/jackets, and it's the time of year I put one on and find all sorts of treasures. Tonight, I found a box of Finnish liquorice, a panic whistle, the red vape I've been looking for, a tiny little drink cup, some spare change, a joint crutch, and a box worth of used matches.
The mentioned items in the post, laid out on a felt Star Wars blankets. The liquorice is labelled 'Salmiakki,' and is heavily salted. The vape somehow still has a charge.

Kumar has not been settling in well. I had to rescue him from falling, after he glued himself to the glass in the hottest spot in the tank. I put him in his food in the cool side of the tank, but he moved right into the path in everyone's way and stayed there all day.
A terrarium lit with red light. There's a small dish on the ground, filled with mushrooms, dried veggies, and bee pollen. There's a small stick above it, running across the frame. It's a main trail for bugs moving between the warm and cool sides of the tank. Kumar, a brown garden snail, is stuck to the stick, directly above the food dish. A large isopod is investigating this obstruction on his path. The same terrarium. Kumar the snail has moved so that he's even more in the way of the food. Several isopods and a bunch of springtails are travelling along the stick. Kumar has stretched himself around the branch, so his eyes are visible popping up from behind, as if he's giving the stink eye to the bugs daring to use the path that has been provided for them.

I'd like it if the trees around here were actually that colour. #Photography Ricoh KR-5 Super II Lomo Purple
A shot of a masonry building beside an empty street. The windows reflect an almost acid-green sky, while the trees and bricks are all various shades of pink and purple. No sign of curses here either.

Another roll of Lomo Purple that never got scanned because every time I tried it looked like dogshit. I can't wait to get to those Metropolis rolls I decided I hated, because these funky film stocks finally make sense with a flatbed. Ricoh KR-5 Super II
A photograph of an empty Mountain Dew can in some scrubby, over-grown grass. The colours are all wrong. The can is purple and dark teal, and all the grass is sort of pinky and purple as well. It's a false-colour film stock that makes the colours look real, rather than having a photoshop filter put over it. It is a totally un-cursed photo otherwise.

Here's a photo from the time I decided to let some guy beat the shit out of my shin for over an hour. #photography Ektar H35n Cinestill 400D
A deceptively dark photo, from the perspective of a person getting a tattoo on their leg. The photographer is wearing red and black bowling shoes, and is getting a jellyfish on his shin. The tattoo artist is wearing bright purple gloves, and has his scalp tattooed There's a lot of stuff going on behind him, but none of it is lit or in focus. Only what's under the bright LED panel is lit. Mostly, that means the tattoo artist, and the leg being tattooed.

It's been a while since I posted some cursed shit. Here's some from a roll I've finally managed to scan. #photography - Kodak H35 - Cinestill 50D
A photograph of quite a lot of nothing. A paper Burger King cup almost shines for how bright it is against a sea of black. In reality, it's sat against a telegraph pole, in the grass. That's not very apparent though. There's a white pipe next to the telegraph pole. Taking up the right side of the frame is a red advertising flag. The entire photo is full of dust and scratches and stuff.A photograph of something. It's dark, grainy, full of dust and scratches, and possibly rotated 90 degrees to the right. There's a sort of holly-looking bush on the left of frame. It's in front of a wall, which is white with something resembling bricks on top. This roll is so old, I don't even remember where I was when I took the photo. It's either the outside of my house, or somewhere extremely weird.A photo of a menu taped to a window. The menu is stained and damaged, and half looks stuck to the window by all the grime on it. Chairs and a table are visible through the window, along with a few plants. Above those, the window reflects the buildings across the street. The smudges from all the grime on the window give the reflections a look like they're dripping.A photo of a random takeaway on the pavement. It's in an open polystyrene container. The harsh flash from the cheap camera makes it look like a torch is shined directly on the discarded food, while dark shadows haunt the edges. In the corner, the handle from one of my crutches is visible. In the dark ares, scratches and dust shine brightly.

Before the game, some practise horseshoes were thrown. I decided I didn't want to be up on the platform for that bullshit, but I was faced with the stairs back down to where we'd parked. They're not stairs. They're nearly vertical. I cannot get down them.
The stairs in question, viewed straight on, are at an absurd angle from above. They are an ADA disaster. But we are out in the middle of nowhere, so you make do.

I was out wandering the town in the dark and a bunch of bats flew out of this hotel like some kind of modern adaptation of a Victorian classic
Photo of a wide sidewalk in front of a row of crumbling art deco buildings. The ground spaces are retail. The first and second floors are apartments. The nearest shop is a pet shop. Beside it is a hotel, identified as such by an ancient, non-functioning neon light. There's a little awning thing over the front that's got a hole in it. That hole leads into an empty space in the building, where all the bats seem to have made a home.

The old Pentax broke beyond even my tolerance for such things, but don't worry. I think I've fixed it properly this time
On a lap desk, sits a Pentax MG camera. Obviously broken is the rewind knob. It's so broken as to be missing entirely.

Also broken is the shutter button. The damn thing keeps falling off. But that's why there's an open pack of JB Weld Plastic Bond, smeared in mixed epoxy, sat right next to the camera. If that button falls off again I am going to hurl the whole thing into the sun.

What appears to be a very wide panorama exposure. It is a panorama exposure, but closer to like, two and a half of them. The frame is entirely black, save for little pinpricks of light. If you squint, you can sort of make out what some of the blobs of light are. The traffic lights that are all three colours are my favourites, I think.

We stumbled upon this today by accident. It was kind of neat!
Photo taken from the passenger seat of a car. The road ahead curves off to the right. Along the opposite side, heading toward the camera, is a line of cyclists. Another shot maybe a second later. The cyclists have now got close enough to have begun riding off frame to the left. Photo in a park. Tall trees shade much of the area, while bushes in the foreground and brightly lit. In the shaded area, cyclists have camped up for a bit of a rest. They seem to be done with the day's stage, and are heading off to wherever they go mid-race. A photo of two women standing in front of a fence. There are signs on the fence. One is 🚳. Another says 'Food' with an arrow pointing left. Beneath the arrow, only an S is visible. The third sign reads 'STP. Water. Juice.' The arrow is pointing to the right. STP in this context is Seattle to Portland. The juice was pickle juice.

I picked up another ancient old camera today. Another Autographic, which I'm highkey considering experimenting with respooling film for. This one takes size 116, so I also got a 620 conversion kit And then while I was looking around, I found a respool kit for my Pony 828. That'll make things easier
The camera in question. It's unnecessarily large for near as I can tell, no significant gain over using 120/620 film. The bellows look kind of fucked from the outside, but early testing suggests they're pretty much intact. Maybe a few pin pricks, but if I wanted perfect quality I wouldn't be looking in antique shops. It's banged up to all hell on the outside, but all of the moving parts are very smooth. I have modern cameras that stick more than this thing does.

There's a lot of good stuff on this roll.
Another adjoining set of cursed-ass frames. The frame on the left was taken in the dark. There's a glass and copper bird feeder hanging right in the centre of frame, reflecting quite a lot of light. There are several trees behind it, and with all the purple smudgy stuff everywhere, it kind of looks like odd leaves. Somewhere in the far background, a dome light in shining. If one squints, the window on someone's front door is almost visible. The second frame was taken in a covering parking spot. The walls have been all messed up. In the top left is a reflective sticker with the number 6 on. On the right side is a door with only a deadbolt lock. There's a panel of white paper missing from the prefab wall. On it, in white chalk, is a face like =O, but the right way up, and a hand with three fingers. It's meant to be someone waving. Below is written 'hello.' The harsh flash from the camera has framed the drawing in a dark vignette.

This is more like it. #photography #believeinfilm - Kodak Ektar H35 - Cinestill 50D
Two frames from a half-frame camera, presented as they appear on the roll. The first frame is a big, black building, with a black door and a black rail along the black steps. In the upper left corner, there is a sliver of greenish-grey sky. There are red festoon lights along the edge of the roof. On the door, the word 'FOE' is written in bright green letters, followed by 'Crossfit,' which is only outlined in green. Underneath, it says 'Finish on time.' The frame next to it has more of the greenish grey sky. A chainlink fence is kind of visible, mostly showing up in reflecting light from the flash, and black shadows. There are several rows of barbed wire on top of the fence. On the other side, long, twisted brambles are reaching for the sky. Across the entire photo are white flecks of something, with violet halos. There are similar violet streaks along the bottom of the entire strip. One might wonder what the hell I was doing putting 50D into a shitcam like ektar, and then taking it out in a storm. I'm sort of wondering that too.

Whoops. I forgot to curse this one. - Ricoh KR etc - Cinestill 800T
A photo of some pinkish blossoms on a twiggy tree, placed in front of a cloudless sky. The blossoms have dark, purplish splotches on the tips of the petals. I have no idea what kind of tree this is. Harsh light from the setting sun makes the petals almost unreasonably bright. The funkiness of 800T being used in daylight have made the petals look like they're kind of glowing pink. Branches and leaves cut into the photo at varying levels of focus.

Hi it's me and I'm back on my bullshit #shittycamerachallenge #believeinfilm #photography - Kodan No 2 Autographic Brownie - Cinestill 800T
A photo of a row of protestors, stood beside a (currently) empty street. There are five? of them? Maybe six? It's quite difficult to tell, because this photo is so fucked up it's ridiculous. A giant yellow smudge of light sits right in the centre of it. More takes up a considerable amount of the upper right quadrant. The camera this was shot with has a frankly obscene amount of light leak. There are scratches and holes everywhere, partially because I am bad at avoiding them, but mostly because I developed these a year ago and after I never managed to get a single image off them I chucked them on a shelf and forgot about them. If you can see through that mess, the colours are all way too purple and green. It also has a whole bunch of squiggly lines all over, from where the developer chemicals decided to froth up on me just for the lulz I guess. All of this is in addition the left and bottom edges being much darker from the majority of the image, and some staggeringly large newton rings. This photo has all the same issues as before, except the shadow is on the right. I think this was a shadow somewhere from the sun, so it moved around depending on which direction I was facing. The colours on this shot are much more saturated, in that it's very green where it isn't bright yellow. It's also a photo of protesters, in front of a grassy park.Same roll, same fuckery. Two more protesters, in exactly the same spot as before, but the angle has now put them in front of hedges and tall trees. If I squint I can almost read what's on their signs, but my eyes are not good enough to make anything out for certain. You know the drill. Two more protesters. These signs are readable. The first says 'Those who kept silent yesterday will remain silent tomorrow.' The second one says 'The best weapon against corruption is awareness. Veterans against Kings. 86-47.'

A photograph of a shopping trolley in an alley. It's next to a giant green rubbish bin. The photo is kind of black and white, except it's all sort of tinted violet. There's a strip of grass that's bright purple, along with a painted kerb. A reddish-orange SUV is parked nearby. It's bright enough to be a distraction. Other cars in frame are white, but their red tail lights are also vibrantly coloured.A photo of a bush with tiny purple leaves. In centre frame is a tiny green flower with five petals.A photograph of a neighbourhood street, where a small white digger is tearing up some old pavement. The grass and hedges are all purple, while the rest of the photo appears to be greyscale, but kind of pinkish. There's a man stood next to the digger. His hi-vis jacket is neon pink. The traffic cones blocking off the pavement and a distant stop sign are the only things that appear to be the correct colour.Photograph of a book display inside a bookshop. Everything's very pink, but in a way that doesn't look right. The shadows become deeper purples, while highlights are a gnarly green colour. The display is a bunch of Goosebumps books, on top of a crochet doily. More books and posters in the background are out of focus.

A screen shot of Epson's scanner software. I've set the scanner up for positive slides, and than have reversed the curve to make the negatively-scanned film positive for realsies. For whatever reason, the scanner has decided to bisect several frames. Probably because the base is bright fucking purple.
