on that note, I still don't really get why Rikku is considered so good in FFX. I keep hearing about her overdrives being broken but all the good ones require shit from the monster farm which is like 3/4 through the game and requires optional grinding. Atp I could just get the final weapons.

when people older than me talk about how time started passing more quickly since their 20s I give them a confused stare because this genuinely hasn't happened yet for me and I can't imagine this being true at all, but there is a strange warped perception going on here that's interesting.

I know this one's on me for not using an adblocker to watch youtube on my phone but it's also kind of concerning that it shows straight up pedo ads that are probably AI generated.

I could tell from chapter 1 but this panel feels almost like the author admitting to having a thing for mouths.

Ruri Dragon doctor saying Ruri is the spitting image of her mother because she has the same mouth.

I got a bunch of samples on from manga day. I read 3 chapters of Ruri Dragon and it's really fun so far. It speaks a lot to my comedic and visual sensibilities.

Ruri playing switch on her bed as her mom comes in and drags her off her bed.

A big problem I have with music "remasters" or covers is broadly that most of them don't capture the essence of the original. The closest I've ever come to using the new soundtrack in a remastered game was Xenoblade. But aside from that, turning on the old soundtrack was pretty much a no brainer.

It's strange to me how people paint Bayonetta's character design as progressive or empowering. I see this argument a lot and I wonder if people just say that because the story throws crumbs of feminism at you by making the villain an evil patriarch and the hero a sexually empowered woman.

I'm playing City Folk for 6 months now and I have almost all the Nook items. The next couple months are fortunately gonna have some events where I can grab the remaining items that can't be purchased and from there it's gonna be slow burn completion I guess.

Use this in case you see someone die without using their bombs

An edit of a Garfield panel, with Jon holding a deflated Garfield. He is currently shouting:
GARFIELD! YOU HAD BOMBS!

The bombs in question is a screenshot of Touhou 6 New Classic, showing the bomb count at 5 bombs.

I'm still not really sure how to feel about this movie. When I first saw it, I came in with raised expectations from people trying to pitch it to me as one of the most profound and complex pieces of media they have ever seen and this made me biased against it because it didn't meet my expectations.

seeing how most criticism against any ATLA related media are "doesn't capture the spirit of the og series" it makes me very pessimistic about checking out any other media. I even did watch Korra and I did not like it. So I've seen how that looks like.
