Awesome! I saw it a few months ago, and still have the ship scene in my head. There are some fantastic moments that linger!

Clearly I need to draw Ambrosia and other beautiful women more. I've also been doing traditional portraits but don't have photos just yet.

I've done my first oil painting portrait 👀 I'll be sharing it once it's varnished. In the meantime, I've spent a good portion of the day setting up a few more canvases.

Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want to be a Magical Girl is probably the farthest from my style, but I love it and want to figure out how to do a piece for it. Related -- come on guys, these characters are great! Don't be gross with the whitewashing 😒

I tried it out when I saw it on sale a while back. It's really fun! A lot to do, and fully customizable in terms of your farm and style. I think it's really fun and a great concept. I haven't finished the story it yet but I'm hooked.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe this is a real piece? I think it's originally "The artist's studio" where she's looking at a painting of a soldier, whom you can see sort of smugged behind the skeleton. I genuinely want to know if I'm wrong or if this is a paint over or AI edit.

It's always frustrating when I'm looking up portrait references and have to scroll and scroll and scroll to find different skin tones. I hunt for these references, but other people might not. I feel it adds to the lack of knowledge around rendering darker skin tones that often pops up online.

I know we all hear about AI all the damn time. I don't know if it's worse because I work in technology or not, but I'm sick and tired of it. There are practical use-cases for AI, like data processing to find trends or medical research and analysis. But in everything? Needing it to breath? Come on.

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.
