Dig this thread. My version of this would be: hey, y'all know those 5500HD laptops you find everywhere from the 10's that can't run Windows anymore? They run Linux great. And Godot runs great. Oh and their specs work out to slightly worse that a Switch 1. And there's a LOT of Switch 1's out there.

The only valid Wayland shell for compositors is Noctalia. Embrace C++ built shells, kick out Quickshell built shells like the way you would a fascist. Again I say fuck anything Hyprland, Omacon, Omarchy, Quickshell related.

Some friends and I are getting together some time to go over an intro to Linux. It's apparent to them that MS products are not something we all want to support. I've chosen to wipe a NixOS laptop and replace with Kubuntu for the intro demo. (I have my Configuration.nix on codeberg, it's okay)
