Just got home from my job as the guy paid to make sure that horrible music is played at blistering volume whenever you're out in public and that it's only ever turned down on the rare occasion that a half decent tune happens to come on. This year is the 50th anniversary of the standalone edition of The Word for World is Forest. This Berkley Medallion edition is from December 1976. Cover art by Richard Powers.
