I went to see the new Resident Evil movie today. An absolutely fantastic film. It had nothing to do with the games whatsoever but I'm honestly okay with that.

Out for what should be an absolute banger of a gig, this evening.

New gender-neutral toilet opening soon.

Finally went ahead and did it, after wanting to for ages. A massive relief, it has to be said.

Can't even have a guy perving through a Pokemon gym window these days with all the Wokeness.

The most irritating voice you've ever heard: More like Wokemon, am I right guys?

AI is the future and you just have to get on-board or be left behind by the magnificent march of technological progress.

I went back to my Pokemon Platinum run from a while ago and put in like 20 hours over the last few days. I have zero nostalgia blindness for Gen 4 and I absolutely loved this game. Genuinely sad to say goodbye to it.

Did one of those music things everyone is doing.

Dagger @letthedaggerfall.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

Resident Evil tried exactly once to have a well-crafted, emotionally affecting character with a tragic backstory and a heartbreaking death, then swiftly vowed to never do that again in fear of things getting slightly too competent around here.

Please Kojima, just miss once.

Enjoying a tasteful selection of Death Metal and Black Metal, this evening.

If you're having a bad day, take some comfort in the fact that you're not a literal magician earnestly defending Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes in my YouTube comment section.

All you can do is laugh, I guess.

A basic but highly enjoyable selection of albums that accompanied tonight's Slay the Spire grind.

I waited a few years after release and got the console for a lower price, which was the style at the time.

I need a little break from stressful horror games and Bloodborne today so it's time to finally get started on Baldur's Gate 3. Live on Twitch later today!

Didn't really need another Sabbath shirt but I couldn't leave this behind in mint condition for that price.

Black Sabbath t-shirt featuring all original members and a £3 price tag.

Oh yes, that "thoughtful" and "affecting" feminist film from known feminist Christophe Gans.

RIP to one of my all-time favourite drummers, Shinya of Luna Sea. One of my very favourite bands for over half of my life and Shinya's drumming is a huge and irreplaceable part of their sound. Will absolutely be binging the Luna Sea discography in the coming days, in tribute.

My complete Fatal Frame 4 playthrough is now up on my VOD channel: www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUk_... If you fancy experiencing one of the most sadly underrated horror games ever made but don't fancy actually playing it then feel free to check it out!

Picked this up for £2.50 today. One of my best charity shop finds in a long time.

Don't you just hate it when you're trying to enjoy a game about a pharmaceutical megacorporation gaining financial influence over a city before killing off its entire population in pursuit of profit and then they go and make it all POLITICAL right at the end?

A nice calm morning of walking and shopping, with a few decent pickups to show for it. Now to take a well-earned rest day glued to the sofa.

Getting to know me through media. My all-time favourites: Game: Silent Hill 2 Movie: Lord of the Rings Trilogy Show: Twin Peaks Album: Uroboros by Dir en Grey

Good afternoon, everyone! I'll be live on Twitch later today with more Resident Evil goodness, but first a workout and some light reading. Loving this book so far, as expected.

Good day, everyone! I'll be live on Twitch later today with a full RE3 remake playthrough to celebrate Jill Valentine's Day. But first a nice long walk, both to get my much-needed cut started and also to celebrate the first day in absolutely ages with no rain and even a bit of sun!

Dagger @letthedaggerfall.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

I will not be playing Yakuza Kiwami 3, and here's why, in my typically reserved manner.

Dagger @letthedaggerfall.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

A nice find for today: A pair of Levi's in excellent condition for £3 from a charity shop. The bit that stings is that I bought an identical pair from the actual Levi's store a while back for £70.

My expert analysis of GAME taking the very sad decision to close all of their stores. Follow for more genius business takes.

Good morning, everyone! I'll be live on Twitch later today with more Resident Evil Village. But first, I'll be spending my morning with a classic that I've never actually played before, somehow.

Doubt I'll be making a better Steam purchase, this year.

If I had to pick just one, it would have to be Portal. I can list flaws for all of my other favourite games but not Portal.

020

Dagger @letthedaggerfall.bsky.social · 29/01/2026

And that's Fatal Frame 4 finished. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Definitely up there as one of my favourite horror games, now. A very high recommendation from me.
