Fairly common; even if it is kind of icky and lame. But that’s how it goes. Give family members a 0.01% share of the organization and they can get their name engraved. Or give them Director of Hockey Motivation or some other superficial title to associate them to the org…

This has been the joyful tradition since 1915. Ironically, first done by the Vancouver Millionaires. Just how it’s always kind of been. The owner tends to either slap a superficial title onto a friend or family member, or make sure they have a sliver of ownership.

Yep, the problem is when internal stakeholders don’t understand that good deliveries don’t often align perfectly with timelines. It requires the PM to sacrifice a little to ensure devs can do their best work to deliver the optimal solution to the needs of both business and customer/user, at times.
