Fewer people would definitely result in fewer head of livestock, but overgrazing has been adversely impacting ecosystems since it began. It's possible the Sahara is the result of overgrazing, as the natural cycle changed to arid. Grassland would have held the soil in place. Topsoil blew to Brazil.

This is another reason they don't want vote by mail: we know when we don't get a ballot & there's time to get one. Also, signatures sometimes don't look enough like the original, & voters are notified so they have a chance to remedy that as well. We have no polling place for intimidation of voters.

When couples perceive their future to be abundant, they tend to procreate more, & the opposite holds true as well. The baby boom was global, and much of it was due to a lack of contraceptive health services. Growth continues at 70 million annually, largely for the same reason. Earth can't afford it.
