Hey there buttercups! Its Bandcamp Friday something I always seem to miss. I also very rarely mention my own music these days. So, if you're in the mood for some shoddily recorded d.i.y music here's a link you could follow lesteroshea.bandcamp.com/album/the-sp...

First time in a while inside Old Trafford and first time for the youngest. Shame it ended up such a poor performance after a flying start to the game. #MUFC

Oh shit forgot the other important news. After a year off from my usual retail job whilst helping the Mrs with her childcare business im finally back stacking shelves and running around like a madman. Was fun whilst it lasted but at least I wont get called Retsel Pretzel or Alexa anymore

Kid moved out. Took my Vox amp with him. Took all the(his) bass guitars with him. We got a spare room now though. Music and art room coming right up. Knowing us it will take several months and he'll want to come back home once it's done🙄 In other news, got a pet spider. Might get some frogs next.

Finally getting back to playing and recording. Working on a few demos and hopefully have something to release in the next couple of months. Wether it will be cool or not remains to be seen(or heard)

Love this performance by Glen. My Back Pages is especially beautiful with a little help from a fella in the audience. The way he just hands over the reins, quietly plays his guitar. What a Man! youtu.be/-x8L1YPt8iI?...

Here's the chorus without vocals. Was aiming for a Pavement kinda sound but fear ive entered into John Squire territory somehow, especially lyrically.

Lester @lestermakesnoise.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

Demos are going well. Impressed myself with intro. Not bad for a first take with that lead guitar.

Haha I love this! My youngest loves doing things like this. What app was he using here?

I love when you or @phoneswithchords.bsky.social post things like this. As somebody who is constantly on the verge of giving up, things like this give me immense motivation and desire to pick up a guitar and hit the record button. Doesn't always work but please keep pushing the dream! Love yas all❤️

OK ive got a spare £50 to set this up but it's taking place in my tiny back garden so I don't have to venture out of the house. I'll borrow some zimmer frames off my Dad for these geriatrics to get to the stage On a serious note some fabulous artists on here who you all should be listening to

Also and this may be a strange compliment but the outros on some of the songs are simply beautiful. The last 5-20 seconds where just a synth or strings? Maybe a guitar just plucking away. Yeah it's the little things that make a difference. Then the final song as one final big outro! Just yeah ❤️

Lester @lestermakesnoise.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

I am not eloquent enough to describe how good this album is. Just know it's really fucking good!

I made a salad last night, proper old school one. The last mini heatwave we got I did a few posh salads, even made my own croutons using chicken fat. Only problem was I still had to cook the salmon and the chicken. Not in the same salad obviously, im not a madman. Getting a takeaway tonight tho!
