I have stayed quiet on NFL takes post Eagles beatdown but my feelings this year are that the eagles have a lot of glaring holes at just about every spot and group. None of that solves my confusion at the existence of Andy Dalton. He couldn't do even basic aspects of running the offense.

I used 'this is your brain on drugs' as a reference to my kid like two weeks ago and then had to both explain and show them the videos. They thought it was hilarious, but it's faded far more then I expected.

It took me longer then it probably should have to understand how important my anonymity is with some of my writing. The amount of writing I have done as me is what it is but being able to write for what is essentially a character is an incredibly important part of my process.

I remember people looking into the artificial price increases put onto video game auctions but that raincoat pikachu, even if it is a real bid someone paid for, is absolutely a grift to increase overall sales of other cards that seller or sellers have.

This constant smugness that is directly a result of people not getting punched in the face at any point in their life for saying the wrong thing to the wrong person. I'm not saying physical assault is a good thing but at some level, a lack of shame is a direct result of a lack of accountability.

As with all of the various AI slop, there is also the same copy pastaed ugly uniformity. All the UI are based off a handful of games, then chewed up and spit out again. With time, they have all begun to look like copies of copies that do not understand why the original choices were made.

Every single element is thought about endlessly on some level. And if money or deadlines didn't exist, in some cases it would go on endlessly. It doesn't mean a choice is right or wrong, as one person or team can never test for every inevitability. But it is human.

Every choice that is made, good or bad, is being made for a reason. Sometimes those choices are that the developer isn't sure about so it's tested over and over. A game being mechanically sound isn't actually fun. It's why balancing is never complete: there are always changes that can be made.

AI "games" are made by people that don't understand the premise of iteration. They don't know why or how anything works and the iteration is telling a prompt to change something they don't understand. It's the total removal of functional iteration. Games are many decisions made through familiarity.
