Back home from One Piece regionals! got 5-6 with my boy Koby, I was 5-3 at one point and really wanted that 6th W For a winning record but I ran out of gas by the end of the loonnnggg day (also double Mihawk lol)

Matt Leslie @lesmocon.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

the reality of taking Koby to a major One Piece regional is settling in so I'm just assigning myself to the "try your best and have fun" mentality, after a few hundred games of practice here's a tier list for how screwed I am in each matchup

Eurogamer article: "Gen-AI controversy aside, after 30 minutes with Crazy Taxi: World Tour, it feels like classic arcade Sega - and it's an absolute blast. Link in comments for more."

OP17 pre-release went pretty good!! good thing it did because probably not going to be able to get any more of this dumbass set!!

130

Matt Leslie @lesmocon.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

goated locals managed to get two boxes of Dragon Ball Story Booster in for me, this set has fallen to the scalpers too but for some reason boxes are 7+ hits??? so it doesn't matter too much

I've tried and failed to get through a Steph podcast before and I have no idea what the point of this other woman is they don't introduce her and she never says anything, and on this one they've dressed the same so it feels like the Eric Andre bit where he brings out the doppelgängers

our intention was for the last DBS Masters set to be the last one but I do love how with the new one coming out they're just admitting the well is dry and going all in on the freaks

Matt Leslie @lesmocon.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

black label in BGS means it's got a 10 in all 4 categories, they give out regular 10s as well and black labels are super hard to get for comparison a PSA 10 is considered equivalent to a BGS 9.5, so a black label is like a PSA 10++ so in other words, my girl is PERFECT

110

Matt Leslie @lesmocon.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

look who just came home literally my fav card in the whole game my insides have melted

Matt Leslie @lesmocon.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

anyway to cheer me up here's our OP16 pulls, I don't know how we got the Treasure rare twice but I ain't complaining

110

Matt Leslie @lesmocon.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

starting a petition for them to swap the main character out for this guy

000

Matt Leslie @lesmocon.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

real goofy part of OP16 is this one random rare is probably going to end up more expensive than all the SRs and potentially even one of the secret rares because two decks need 8-16 and it's about 1 per box, which kind of feels like a hate crime

110

Matt Leslie @lesmocon.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

anyway I got my one Japanese box of OP16 and this was in literally the first pack, I might have to skip the pre-release for the English tomorrow I've already burned through my luck for the weekend

000

Matt Leslie @lesmocon.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

it's something you'd only get during that time period where you got a bunch of industry vets old guys looking at 360 graphics like "oh my god, it's looks just like a movie!! how are people gonna know when the game starts!?!?!?!?"
