4/ None of this is built specifically for this one paper. The paper is written in RSM, a new open source markup language where the author writes only the semantics of the argument (this is a proof, these are its steps, this is an assumption...) The reader controls and preferences fall out of that.

3/ Take the level of detail. Read each proof at the level you want, one line or full detail, and see at every step which hypotheses you can use and what is left to prove. Take the notation. Rename any symbol and it changes throughout, so you read in your preferred notation, not the author's.

2/ Take the order you read a proof in. Its steps have a dependency order but not a total order, so there are many valid sequences, not one. You choose the sequence that suits you, and you can't place a step before something it relies on.
